    Hi,
I bought a '22 SR5 tundra with 6k miles. It has the longer 6.5' bed. It took me several days to figure how to get the back window down... But that was a great when I got it working.

How do I see on the display where the mpg are? I'm sure I saw that once and now I can't find it again. I do see the number of miles I have left on the tank. It seems like the mpg are pretty good. Update: I found it, I had to use the down arrow in the mileage section.

Also, this morning it was 16 degrees. I drove my son to the farmers market and it felt like the emergency brake was on. I read there was a recall with some 2022 tundra models. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this, but I do see where the PARK light is on/off in red. It wasn't on, but felt like it. Looks like my tire pressure is low though, 29. When I put my VIN number the "only" issue is the engine recall. Which makes me think I'm not part of the brake issue.

Speaking of the recall, is toyota replacing any of these engines before people notice issues with rough riding or loss of power?

    Thanks,
    ~DjK

Use the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll thru the menu of settings and display options. You'll find it.

Or, worst case, flip open your owners manual.

as far as the mpg goes you have to consider idle time. From what i can tell it just calculates fuel consumption over a period of time plus mileage . if your just sitting someplace with the engine running it's counting gas consumption + 0 miles. same as with stop lights and such vs being on a long trip with no stops. When I'm on a long drive with no stops my mpg goes up.
also if you prefer there is a way to set your parking brake to manual. As far as the engine thing you will have to look to see if the truck is in the recall time frame.
If your in the time frame you get a new engine even if yours is running fine.

Winter. Cold. Winter blend gas. Possibly extended warmup times. Possibly short trips. All will tank mileage.
Point is: we know some things, but we don't know how he uses his truck.
I'm getting 17-19 commuting most of this winter so far.

Im getting about the same when just driving. Only changes were winter tires + winter gas here in MN. Summer is 22-23 highway, winter is 16-18mpg.
