Hmmmm....I just checked my app. None of the Connected Services are activated. When I navigate to the Data Privacy Portal and select it, I get a message to "Go to Manage Subscriptions and add services to enroll in Connected Services." It does not display the Data Privacy Page.

So, clearly my truck is not collecting data on me, but my FOB remote start still works.

I’m in the same boat after trying again. Put a new battery in the fob to be sure. For whatever reason, I can’t get it to work

Watch the other video pine_cone67 sent. Maybe that needs to be done to enable your remote start.

I personally don't use it on the Tundra. I hate that it shuts off. Although some evidence is out there for start up being hard on our motors, there is evidence that it is not. I believe from the testing and results I have found is the motor running at not up to temp is most harmful. I start my truck and look to drive away within 10 seconds. Drive easy until it is warmed up. Higher rpms give more oil flow and heat the motor up quicker where everything is at the size they were designed to be.

    l have already.

As I said, I’ve never activated the connected services out of principle. It remains inactivated. FOB remote start still works.

Maybe it’s different if you fell for the “free” 1 year gimmick.

Try doing it faster or slower. The timing has to be PERFECT on mine for it to fire off. Mine is like 1thousand1, 1thousand2, 1thousandHOLD

Is there a way to put all windows up or down with the remote?

I thought I saw that somewhere. Tried several remote button sequences yesterday.

To be honest it's been a couple of years.
So,if I remember correctly on the infotainment screen go to un lock options, you can have all windows or just selected windows, once you configured them you can drop with the fob, press unlock then unlock and hold.

Thanks Blufin. I will investigate in a little while after my son gets back with the Tundra. I don’t remember seeing that in the infotainment options when going through it. I may need to get Carista for a month. I believe someone has used it before as I don’t believe I have the V8 sounds and seat belt noise is absent. I don’t know why they wouldn’t enable the window. But I haven’t tried that sequence maybe.

Hey my apologies, I just tried accessing these settings on my infotainment and you will need Carista to do this option and other options as well.

I don't know if your Stealership will do this for you WO charge but if they do charge for $30 it maybe worth it vs buying and subscribing for a month.
    Just food for thought.

There is a thread on Caristas where they get paid forward: https://www.tundras.com/threads/pay-it-forward-carista.144198/
Someone sent me a Carista on there, I used it, and sent it to the next guy. There are several in rotation now.

Also, if you open your sunroof, you can open it a little bit more after it stops if you push the open button again.

Is this just for the license usage?

I have a veepeak Bluetooth adapter, which I understand works great.

Yes, in fact, the one that someone sent me was a Veepeak Bluetooth adapter. I still had to pay Carista $10 for the month to use it, though.

You guys are really driving around with no seat belt on?

I can’t get comfortable without one anymore unless I’m out in the field sampling type deal

Cool but hell to the no would I wait out that sound for 5 minutes. Toyota did this right imo. Annoying enough to avoid it and be safer.

although I did turn mine off. Toyota probably getting kick back money from Carista lol
