Level kit + BMC to fit 35's.
    Hi All,

I am currently running stock suspension on my 2020 tundra trd sport 4x4.

I have added a spacer lift to clear 35's as well as a BMC and some trimming.

I am purchasing a 6 pac camper at dry weight of about 905lbs. I don't plan on keeping it on there 24/7, but want to make sure it handles okay on the truck. I know suspension will eventually be needed, but wondering if i can sneak by with airbags and/or leaf kit?

Any reccomendations on suspension v. keeping stock an adding airbags/leaf kit?

Do you run the RAS with stock suspension/level kit? Or would I need to upgrade suspension?

leaning towards adding 6112 bilsteins and then RAS/AAL/Airbag.

RAS with OE suspension is all you will need. Just make sure you have an appropriate WDH and brake controller if necessary.

The RAS will play with OEM suspension just fine. By nature of its design, it will raise the rear up a bit (.75"-1"). A suspension upgrade is going to be better for suspension travel characteristics as well as managing heat due to the additional weight's inertia. So you don't "have to" upgrade your suspension to run a RAS properly, but it's not a bad idea.

We set up @RobertD with the exact setup you've discussed (6112/5160/RAS), and I'll let him share his experience here! We're happy to help get you all set up when you're ready. Always happy to answer questions you may have as well.

    6112/5100

I love my set up though, when I installed the RAS I removed my rear sway bar and I love how everything works. The RAS limits body roll (I might feel a little more than with the rear sway but not really enough to care) but unlike the rear sway it let's the left and right sides of the truck act independently. Not sure if the dealership tightened my rear sway too much or if it was correct, but I swear I felt every bump across the whole rear even if it was only on 1 side. I put my 6112 at the 2nd from the top (1.9") and had a shim on driver side to account for lean, and without the RAS the truck looked basically level but I load my rear often and I am not a fan of that squat look.... truck rides great both unloaded or loaded, I am so happy with the RAS system and it fit my use style and was easy to install.

Airbags don't ride like crap unloaded. Just run them at 5 psi minimum operating pressure when camper is off truck. TRD rear sway bar recommended if you decide to run bags.
