What have you done to your NOT 3rd Gen Tundra today?

Excellent news! I had a 2017 with the 6.7 and I liked that truck. I miss having an HD truck....just doesn't fit in the work parking garage

 

Once the suns up I'm hoping to get the floor mats installed.

Just installed them in the Super Duty about 2 months ago.

Love mine, replaced the Weather Tech HP's that I had originally installed. The WT's were fine, but the Tux coverage is a great upgrade.

I did have an issue with the drivers side rubber foot pad coming loose, called them and they had a complete new front mat at my door within a couple days. The replacement is doing well.

Well, I got the Tux Mats in... mostly.

Coverage is great. Best I've seen, honestly. The material has a nice sturdy feel, but they're lighter than the OEM rubber mats by a bit.

Unfortunately the fit is mediocre at best. The passenger front mat is just a bit too wide so it sticks out and is a bit of a lip. Slightly concerned my elderly mother might trip getting the truck because she doesn't always fully lift her foot when taking a step. (Look at the weather stipping under it.)

I tried to adjust and fight it in and it's just not quite shaped right.





The driver side has the retention posts, so it can only go in one spot. Trouble is that it's similar to the passenger and it tries to sit to far outboard. It was about a half inch off from the OEM mat holder positions. I was able to fight it into place and the retainers hold it in place, but it doesn't seat quite right. You can see that I had fo force it under the outer seat rail plastic and the center console trim to get it to move in far enough to snap onto the retention pegs.



And those two were both better fits than the rear. It doesn't fit at all. Before anyone asks, yes, I ordered the right ones. '24 crew cab without the fold out storage.

One star for the looks, one for the coverage, and lost one star for each mat that doesn't fit well or at all. 2 out of 5. Would not buy again.

 

Not your fault! If they fit better I'd love them.

I'm going to see if I can use a trim clip or two to get the fronts to sit better regarding the weather stripping coverage. My guess is the '24 f150 probably had the rear seat storage adjusted with the refresh and they haven't adjusted, or assumed there was no change.

 

New shoes, an oil change, air filter and a detail for the Corolla as she rolled 100k. From now I shall call her Betty (lol IYKYK)
Handles like a whole different car on these continentals and I love it more every time I drive it.

09 Corolla 4 banger with 4 spd auto 100k miles. Do I flush it or just drop the pan? If I drop the pan should I do the filter while I'm in there?

 

Drop pan & change filter & fluid, I personally am not a fan of flushing transmissions.

Anybody familiar with how to reset the tpms on a 10th gen Corolla? Didn't see the button anywhere and it really doesn't like my new shoes

 

Road tripped down to Saint George Utah to get out of the cold. Popped down to Mister D'z Diner on Route 66, and then went over to see the Grand Canyon

That trip was over the last couple days. Today I helped a buddy clean up some cottonwood branches that blew down while we were on the trip.

 

Had my bed sprayed with a Rhino Liner. That has been the only upgrade so far. Pics will come when I get a chance.

 

Nice upgrade! Definitely on my list.

 

Put some big rig shit on the truck. Waiting on the last lenses from @Baja Designs to get colors aligned…

 

It is. I am very happy with it, and the applicator was really top notch!

I highly recommend getting it done as it also helps with ascetics.

Do you know who you would use? Rhino Liner or LineX?

 

I don't think there's rhino liner anywhere close to me. I used to use a local body shop that used a different brand, but they no longer do liners.

I'll likely wind up with line x.

 

I went with Line X because the guys who apply other brands apparently work out of Ford and Ram dealers, which I wasn't entirely comfortable entrusting my brand new Toyota to.

That said, I've been happy with the Line X. No complaints so far.

 

The new Land Cruisers are sweet! Toyota was smart on that line!

 

Honestly, I've never heard of anyone having issues with any brand. It's always some inept/lazy installer that causes the issue. The products are all pretty good from what I hear.

 

I would agree with your decision to go with Line X then. not that you need my suggestion, LOL!

 

I know that has the biggest RAMification (see what I did? ) and I would give my limited agreement.

I was warned, however, by the old Line X owner in my area to NOT go with Lenard. That left Rhino. So something within Lenoard he was not happy with.

 

Raptor liner is the exception. It's craptastic

 

I heard of them, but applying it myself was not something I felt comfortable or able to do.

 

I did raptor in a 85 square body and it came out decent, it just didn't have any kinda durability. About 6 months of hauling scrap and pallets and it was peeling and chipping real bad. Admittedly I might've done it too thick.
