yeah, didn’t see much other than his thread in the performance and tuning section. He’s not “local” to me so I just ordered my own kit so I can revert to stock when/if needed and not have to drive all across Texas to do so lol.

First post here. Lurked for a while getting information on tires etc.

First Toyota I’ve owned. So far I’ve been very pleased.

    285/75 18s installed today.

I hope he travels with a harness and gets strapped in. If you get into an accident, he becomes a missile hazard and can kill himself or you/other passengers if not seriously injured. Just like we will if we are not wearing out seatbelt. Beautiful dog!

Miss having 5% tint from the looks but it was a mfer to deal with from inside. I’ve resorted to 15% all around and 50 on windshield. Feel like the front grill is missing a small color add to break up the black. But that’s just me and you have a great looking truck.

I have the same solution for my 100# dog. If I were to harness and attach the dog to something he would still have slack to move around. If something were to happen at speed wouldn’t he still fly about? I guess I picture him getting snagged in the leash too which could not be good. I’d love to know the right way. Almost bought a topper to pair with a strapped in kennel to solve this but no idea??

Yeah here in Cali, I only like 5%. I don’t like people being able to see into my truck haha. Yeah I’ve thought about possibly getting a wind chill pearl fog lamp bezel.

Last night I installed the Beats Sonic dual qi charger basically in the dark. My garage doesn't provide as much light as I'd hoped, but I was determined. I struggled a bit getting the cable snaked down through the dash, but I think I got it all put together right. Haven't had a chance to test it well.

I also installed some welcome lights from Etsy.

Very nice equipment and clean installation. Does your mirror not open your garage door? Curious why the separate garage door opener.

You cheaper heater did not require teh deep cycle cranking amps from a marine battery. Trust the manufacturer and get good quality 12v marine battery.

Very Nice! Did you have to get all your sensors recalibrated after installation?

Amber/yellow light is always better than clear. The clear/white light reflects more off of the fog. The amber/yellow light doesn't reflect off of the fog and the light wavelength travels farther.

you’d be correct. OEM TRD off-road suspension, 18” oem wheels, no spacers.
Previous owner pulled the brackets off, so all I had to do was pin the liner back. Zero clearance issues, UCA Clears no problem.

Installed my X2 27F. Thought I was going to have to add a bend to the strap but it ended up bolting back in place. It's a very tight fit vertically but there's plenty ty of room side to side. Oem terminals reach just fine and clear the battery case. I wasn't going to bother with the top hold down strap since it's solid with just the bottom bracket, but it worked without modding it.

always is a terrible work to use. For fog/snow/rain/dust I agree. If it’s a clear night white is better

Deleted all the exterior chrome/silver, added a bed step, added predator steps and replaced the factory grille with the TRD Pro grille (just need to paint the mustache red to match the body).
Also, hooked up a Carlinkit box in, so the kids can stream shows/movies on that 14" screen. Big win for longer trips/ipads die.

Next on the radar is the Sherpa Grizzly roof rack with light bar and either a bed rack or cab (for eventual rod vaults) and probably swap out the fender flares for the TRD ones since they're darker.

Oh, and got a brand new engine due to the recall (with five years of free Remote Connect for the hassle)! Least expensive "zero mile" vehicle I've ever purchased! ;)
