Understood. You could also potentially just buy a related kit and re-sell the filter, ditch the bracket? https://www.ebay.com/itm/146247451402

@455h0le_dachshund what brand is this? MAF port on the tube might work for water/meth.

    IMG_0334.jpg

Just gotta trim off the bend & stuff some sealant in the stock box. Or stuff a smooth straight piece in the bellow.

    Indeed :D

Next one a V6 though, 2WD, maybe manual? So I probably can't use this kit.

Wait, am I seeing that correctly, the intake side reducer isn't a hump hose?

I've seen a red 2WD Manual (I think 05) 4.0L for sale in the ATL metro lately if that piques your fancy.

Why doesn't this fit the early gens? Y'all got different size TBs or something?

The intake tube isnt the bottleneck. Once you get longtubes, the bottleneck is the valves/cam headflow. Sure you can get a hp or 5, but if you want 50, you’ll want cams before throttlebodies or velocity stacks.

I waited a few days and now they are saying they might not have any. I would have got the jump on you @shifty` if they didn't give me the runaround on the hump hose last week. Their 1 remaining in stock might be a ghost item, but Im gonna place the order, which may get cancelled.

BUT, apparently they is an updated PN in production. No part number available for sales to share at the moment, nor an ETA. But they told me their manager confirmed something is coming? I'd be surprised if it wasn't just KN branded? If it doesn't move the MAF then it might be a good alternative.

ALSO, note that the 510-781 instructions have the WRONG tube PN. The 8 and 1 are reversed. Geez, Airaid was BAD at keeping their documents consistent.

ALSO the KITHUMPS03 is not the full PN, there's more to it, but I can't remember what it is.

The intake side isn't a hump. There is a reducer with the dimensions on the 510-781 instructions. I found a dimensioned one on summit racing. I'll try to find PN

Drove a new Tacoma trailhunter while I was waiting for my appt to have some blood drawn. Tacoma is still so narrow. Space inside does feel better. This thing has bells, whistles, gizmos, wizzbangs, beepers, knobs, dials, big screens, small screens and the list goes on. Soooo much stuff in the truck. Suspension is beefy as hell OME hardware. Beyond what I’ve seen for sale anywhere. The snorkel is annoying AF. Constant whistling and sucking noises when on the throttle. 6.5’ bed is cool. $70k price tag is not :eek2::eek::eek::eek2:

    70. Thousand. Dollars. For a Tacoma? We live in clown world. That's just insane. And all that for what? A bunch of office yuppies who are too afraid to wheel that bitch or they might scratch it? Lame. Plus it drives off road for you. Double lame.

This is twice as expensive as what Airaid quoted. I added one to my order of the toooob.

Modified the shift boot from a 3rd gen T4R to fit in the cut out opening of the center console. Some seam stripping super glue and duct tape later and it's ready to roll.

Gotta focus on getting a Toy/Lex/Scion vehicle for the kids before I can focus on my personal “wants”.

Damn, I hope offered the right part!!

Welp, if it all pans out that way and the extra one I ordered comes but yours doesn’t, LMK. I can let go of my extra. I got the extra thinking I may get an LC/LX470 or something one of these days, or anything else with the 2UZ or 3UZ that could maybe work, but I can hook a brother up.

I’d hate to need to call them back and Aunmit is right down the road. I may have a cheaper source on the Vibrant hoses. Will need to check. There are a couple of brands I trust on 3”+ silicone, they’re one of them.

When we discussed cams a while back, I thought you said cams were pointless without upgrading [something else] too.

I binge watched that series when I had a trial Prime membership, but I never would have remembered that line. I had to look it up :anonymous:
I have played the game, and that series was badass, loved it.

I've watched that series 3 times, beat FO3 at least 5 times, FNV at least 10, FO4 4 times, and FO1 and 2 once. I like me some Fallout. Fuck FO76.
