    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
That's a great line if thinking.

Not that I follow it all the time...

I can’t believe I just paid $8 for two slices of the meat lovers pizza from the cafeteria. Doesn’t taste much better than the $1/slice pizza I had in high school.

The price of convenience I guess. I’m just glad the chef wasn’t making it otherwise it’d be $8/slice.

Check with some of the local tire shops. They may have some cheapies they'll sell you.

Alright, I’ve been chasing this popping out of the front end and I’m at wits end. It’s weird like the alignment shifts and you can feel it when driving. When it pops in the opposite direction it fixes itself and “goes back into alignment”. Truck pulls to the right and now it’s shaking under braking only when the alignment/front end “pops out”

    Camburg UCA
    Fox 2.5 coilover
    New LCA
    Poly steering rack bushings
    333 fab billet rack clamp
New rack, inner, and outer tie rods
    OEM LBJ
    No front sway bar

lower ball joints are still good. I’m at wits end here. It’s a very audible clunk and it feels like it’s under a lot of tension. Happens only at slow speed turning in parking lots or backing into the driveway. Any ideas?

Did you confirm the LCA adjusters are tightened to spec, front and rear, both arms?

I have the 333Fab alignment lockout plates as well. They’re torqued and they haven’t moved since I witness marked it with the paint pen. Recently had them loosened for a cv warranty, but it was doing that prior too.

Im really at a loss. Even thought it was a seized caliper, but both temps are identical after driving and no signs on the rotors.

Have you watched the steering rack bushings while someone else turns the wheels with the engine running?

I have but it’s been a long time and I think they don’t move since they’re poly especially with that billet clamp. Looks like I might just need to throw it on a lift and crack everything loose and retorque to see. I feel stupid because usually this kind of things cause be found by process of elimination.

Snug top is a quality brand. That’s a nice looking shell with all its windows and keys. Even has the carpet on the ceiling. If you like the unique window configuration, go for it. Also a good price

That reminds me, I need to torque the rack bolts to spec this weekend. That clamp is supposed to be at 122 ft lbs. I think the middle is like 90 and the driver bolt is either 90 or 122.
