Funny you just brought that up. I just ordered the chop plates from Relentless to get that done too! $24.99 + free shipping. Apparently Corey Sain will be out for 1 to 2 weeks.

Aftermarket switch received direct from Taiwan. The switch I got from the totaled parts truck on here had the wrong connector.

Now I just need to run two wires to each mirror for the power fold function.

Kind of a neat switch. Power fold mirrors would be pretty cool. Who wants to get out when it's freezing when all you have to do is push a button. Very cool.

Chopped mine a few weeks ago and I'm finally going to have some time to weld the relentless plates on in the morning.

i wish i had a welder. Ran 220V outlet in my garage and wife got me welding gloves and helmet a few years ago but haven't had the spare money to get a welder yet. It got pushed lower on the list of things to purchase after i got rid of my 84 Toyota Pickup Crawler. That was the main reason for getting the welder at the time.

Do you really have to tear it apart that much to install it?
Mine is sitting in my office, because I really don't feel like going through that much trouble to install it. With my work, it's difficult to find that kind of time.

Yes you do have to. The plug you plug the speedo calibrator in line with the display. It's really not hard. Only like 6 bolts total.

Ok. Gotta get up early to start it. Hope my pager doesn't go off while I'm in the middle of it. But driving to FL in 2 weeks & really need to install it.

Just be careful. You are dealing with the instrument cluster panel...if u drop that it'll be big bucks to replace it.

    Got 'er done!!!
No broken pieces, no extra pieces! All gauges work the same. Gonna go to town later. That'll be the first road test.

So....... driving in to work this morning, just cruising along. Look at the speedo, it read 35. I was easily doing 50-55.
My thoughts are... during the download of the tire size, there's a place to put "previous" tire size. When I bought it the original owner bought SR5 20" upgrade. Tires were 305/55/20. So, that's what I input. I'm thinking, it only read the difference from essentially 33" to the new 35".
There is another input section just to put in the tire size (35"). Am I right to assume that it will assume the stock size??? Do you guys have any other suggestions, @csuviper, @Sean266 ?

I think you need to put in the correct stock tire size (255/70/18). Not sure though, it has been awhile since i have looked at that program.

That was my first thought too. Thanks for posting that. I was gonna crawl under & look at the spare. See how it works after work today. Thanks again

Ya toss in the tire size from stock and then convert. Even that shouldn't be a drastic change that u described though.

You may have entered something wrong... The difference between the stock 18, to 305 20s to 35s isn't 20 mph. I'm thinking one of your numbers was placed in the wrong spot. Hopefully you ran the sub cord down so you don't have to tear anything apart, but you might try just re entering all the same numbers and checking with a gps app on your phone. Then if that doesn't work, move back to the stock size.

Note to self..... don't let the little black box rest on/near metal. It set off all the warning gauges, shut down the speedo/tach, etc. Got her back home. 3rd time's a charm. Figured out that the metal was causing it. Strapped it to some other wires. Test drove it again. Balls out. Everything seems to be spot on.
    Thanks for the help.
