I don't believe in belt driven power adders. Up and forward headers and a turbo or I'm out.

First post 03 Tundra I’ve seen with the supercharger. At least that proves that it can be made to work.

Other than that who sells a Tundra with a ripped up driver’s seat for almost $19k!?!

I know but they only advertised the supercharger to be 00-03 before it was discontinued so I didn’t know if it would cause any issues in the 04.

BTW for anyone that was remotely interested in the Kicker Hideaway HS8 (powered 8" sub) I installed in my 03 a few weeks ago, I love it.
It sounds great with rock music.
But today I finally got a wild hair up my arse and tried some hip hop and it also sounds great.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the bass this super compact setup delivers. Like I used to laugh at 8" subs back in the day.
This thing has no business being this good and only 150 watts.
    upload_2025-2-19_20-22-7.jpg

They also make a 10" version at 180 watts.

Having subwoofers pointed straight at your ears is wild. That's crazy.

Looks like me and Casey are going to be wrenching on my truck Friday, maybe Saturday, too. You're welcome to come hang out and drink beer, or pick up a wrench. I'll text you the address if you're interested.

That's a pretty loaded truck... Not in perfect cosmetic condition, but with the super and the topper, and a little budget wiggle room it could be fun.

It's nice. When I drove my Pop's 07 Tacoma I always bump it and it doesn't start and I'm like "ugh peasant truck"

That’s a lot of firepower, and probably shit soundstaging. But took them door cards to a custom 10 for sure! I’ve thought my about doing something similar to the rear AC door to add a 8 or 10” sub in each rear door.

Exactly. More of a novelty than an actual need for it. The only reason I can picture is a dead battery and you’re lucky enough to live at the top of a hill.

I think you've either made a joke that no one here picked up on, or have "bump start" confused with ol-skool push start a manual trans and pop the clutch. The bump start is where you simply bump the key to the start position and release and the starter will engage until the truck starts, then automatically disengage.
