Hopefully it's for all recent purchases, thanks for the heads up. I'll reach out to where I purchased and ask as well.

I'm still on the fence about gearing. With 2650 and Yotawerx Custom tune, my truck already spins up way too easy from a stop and in lower gears. I would also do a Powertrax LSD at the same time which would help with traction but it seems like 1st gear would just be super jerky with 5:29's and current setup.

If I go in to do LSD, I'm definitely going to regear, but on the fence between 4:88 and 5:29 from a stop and go traffic situation which is most days on commute home.

On the flip side, I really want the 5:29's for more midrange punch when overtaking or during fits of road rage. Also like the idea of shifting coming back to normalcy. With 35's this truck is constantly shifting

You can always tune your shifts so it doesn't Rev out in first. I have it set up to shift quickly out of 1st to 2nd where I get the most power out of 3-4-5. It's not perfect but I don't want to burn those clutches in the transmission. Also trying reducing torque reduction for upshifts to firm em up a bit more than the built valve body. But I'm working on timing efficiency that coincides. But I'm sure yotawerx can work that out. I have no issues driving in stop and go traffic. With 5.29's, speedmaster lsd and a touchy pedal that's wants to spin the tires...

I'm at 1000 miles on 5.29 and speedmaster lsd. Main reasoning was to take strain off transmission while running 35's and towing. Trying to avoid burning up another transmission.

I have no plans for lifting this truck or going 37's. I'm pretty happy with my skinny 35's.

Definitely worth looking into! If you bought it from Hotshot Off-road, it'll be the gen6 per Colton.

Got the motor properly on the stand today, the rotating deal is super easy to use.

You know, the 3UR will do well in a Z3.

Has anyone install either LRA or Transfer Flow tanks with s/c? any issues?

HPT says the issue is the file, waiting for a new one.

    People have shoehorned the 5.4l BMW M73 12 cylinder in there, I'm ok with 2800lbs & 330HP.

Man, there's a car I wished I had bought was a shorty E38 750i, it was an individual car with candy flip paint, instead I bought an CPO E39 540i, 2 chain guides job and one replacement engine later, I really wished I had bought the E38.

Was freeing up some space up front deleting the sais pumps up front. Forgot the whole AIP system is tied to the 5 volt constant. With pumps unplugged the bank 2 primary O2 was reading low voltage. Trying to not drop coin on a full Hewitt system. Will look into at least having the system have continuity. AIP system doesn't operate but still does a sensor psi check. So may do a partially disassemble hose system and leave aip drivers alone.

Please offer details as you move forward.

I'm battling a pump off bank 1 code presently.

I've removed both pumps and bench tested both and they spool up perfectly when 12 v applied.

My truck was previously involved in a front right low speed collision.

    All wiring is intact.

I'm still trying to find if there is a fuse or relay that may be hanging up.

The truck has 13k miles, I find it hard to believe the valves are causing the issue.

But any thing you notice on your end, please post.

    Thanks

    Kirk

I removed both my AIP pumps, the hoses and most of the wiring and replaced with the main Hewitt 2.0 and two (extra) Hewitt Sensors. It’s OCD but so much cleaner in the engine bay. No CELs in 1.5 years!

    Great!

Can I ask where the drivers are located?

    I can't even find a fuse.

I'm perfectly fine with bypassing the system. My '08 system has been bypassed since I got it.

My '21 has a different ECU flash that won't allow the " poor mans" bypass.

So I'm trying to learn everything about the newest system.

I know when Iost power to my obd port it was from my bank 2 aip pump connector was not fully seated. Once I traced it from the ecu and fixed it I had power. The aip wiring and fuses are tied into multiple systems...fun

Edit: Forgot to post the drivers are in back of fuse box by master cylinder as @Ponderosa_Pine stated.

The main controllers for mine are right in front of the master cylinder drivers side (this is the Hewitt installed):

I think in HPT there is an option to disable all SAIS codes too but I may be misremembering:

I’ve had a LRA tank for 5 years. No issues. Still looks like new.
