The only local shop in the area that sells and installs lift kits is a Les Schwab Tire center.

I've had good luck with them in the past and like the idea of a lift kit install backed by a large company.

They said for my 2021 Tundra, they had two lifts that will allow 35's. The first was a 4" Tuff Country lift that included new UCAs, shock bracket extensions, and spacers all around. Installed price was $1429 that included new alignment.

The second lift was the Fabtech 6" kit that included everything, but just rear Stealth shocks, install, and alignment for $3770.

I was surprised that 37s wouldn't fit with the 6" lift. Maybe with a BMC?

Anyway, I'm inclined to go with the Tuff Country since the truck is only used now for occasional light towing and mild off-roading. The current Bilstein 5100s front/add-a-leaf rear system with 33" tires is adequate for it's duties.

I just am not happy with how it looks since getting my Wrangler on 35's. Planning on putting the same 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs on the Tundra. Great tires!

But, I don't know if I'll be satisfied with basically just another inch or so of lift for $1400. But spending twice that for the same size tire fitment and increased beefiness that I don't really need seems unwise as well.

I can pay cash for the 4" lift and tires with my tax return, but the 6" would require some financing.

    Thoughts?

Truck looks good as is. Maybe ditch the Yellowstone tv show sticker. I 100% wouldn’t finance truck mods. So if you’re dead set on changing it, go with the one you can afford now, or save your money for the other one if it’s the better option.

LOL. I grew up on horseback in Idaho. Me and my family can identify with much from that show in regards to outsiders moving in and trying to change everything. Surely an Arkansas native can relate to the frustration of having large numbers of folks from different states with different values moving in and wanting to change everything. Unless you're not actually an Arkansas native, and are one of the invaders, lol.

With my current lift and rims, pretty sure I can fit the 255/85R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs with no rubbing. They are actually taller than the 35x12.50R17s by a 1/4" or so.

Might just do that and see how I like it. I fear I won't be satisfied until it is at least 6" and on 37's, lol.

I grew up 3 hours from where I live now. Not a lot of people move to Arkansas thank goodness. You do you on your trucks appearance, I only mentioned it because you were asking for opinions about it. My experience with lifts is it’s never big enough, and it always ruins the truck for everyday use. No one needs a 6” lift and 37s, they just think it looks cool. I’ve gone everywhere in my truck with 31.5-33” tires on it. Not willing to ruin the truck just to look cooler, I need the truck to be functional. For IFS Toyotas, that’s generally about 2.5” of lift and 33-34” tires.
