Medium and high height allow me to open cover, low just barely blocks. All heights still have perfect camera vis.

I don’t think the Yakimas are T slots, but I haven’t personally had any experience

subscribing. I'm in the same boat.
MX4 (newer version with didn't need to drop OEM rail)

Now I'm looking for a rack, where I can still open up the tonneau cover. Quick release is ideal, since I won't be running the rack unless i'm camping or hauling bicycles. Has anyone done this with the Rhino setup? That intrigued me cause of the quick release, even though it runs low, if it means i can take them off quickly, that might suffice. But i only see it on the RetraPro setups with the prebuilt slots, not for the MX4 setup?

Elevate seems to be a strong option though too still. Has anyone installed this wit the "newer" MX4 setup 2024+ where you don't need to drop the OEM rails?

    decisions decisions...

I was between Yamuna and rhino. I like the low profile to help protect what I’ll be putting on the bars from the wind. Maybe not protect, but you know. Now I’m looking at Thule options as I get a deal on their stuff. If I end up getting annoyed with low bars I could always order the elevate rack parts later.

i can't seem to find a Thule option that works with the MX4, nor a Yakima (the ones they show go onto a different setup).

Yeah. Doesn’t appear Thule has a quick release.

I’ll be getting the elevate track system that works with bakflip. Then you get

1 x Yakima SkyLine Towers (with New Covers) (Set of 4)
1 x Yakima Inch JetStream - Black (Pair)
    1 x Yakima 4 Pack SKS Cores
    2 x Yakima Landing Pad 26 (Set of 2)

that will work with quick release.

I didn't realize the elevate rails are universal for other brands, great to know! I might just get the rail first and slowly build it up. Handy to just have the T rails to tie things down sometimes.

I was able to order the rails and mounting hardware individually from etrailer.com, since it was showing out of stock at Real Truck

I'll let you know in a few weeks whenever I install.

You still have to use the drop bracket.

No need to buy the Toyota bracket for the rails unless you're not using the cover.

I just wedged the elevate rails under the factory cover rails.
