I asked them that months ago. Was told they have no plans to make them for the Tundra.

That is intense, it'll be trick if it's RGB, now I want RGB underglow on the truck and the trailer.

 

Someone help me out, cause I'm referencing 2000 when Street Glow was hot, but I thought underglow lighting was illegal. Same for wheel wells. Wouldn't those lights get you pulled over?

To counter my own statement, our marine police started pulling over boats for colored lighting. I chose white for my boat and haven't been hassled. Is white exempt?

 

I was told that as long as they can't see the "source" of the lights in the wheel wells, it's ok. I used to do truck meets, etc and had colored lighting - never had issues. I now only run pure white, occasionally, and no issues whatsoever.

 

I just did this earlier today actually. Hopefully they’ll realize there’s still a larger 2nd gen market than 3rd gen market - and they’re missing out on it.

Their tow mirrors are bada$$.

 

Eh, I personally know of 2 sets of power fold mirrors ($1k) that didn't last 2 years. I won't be buying anything else from these guys.

 

I understand. However, it seems like most people that purchase them are happy with them so - call me stubborn - but I guess I’ll have to learn the hard way lol.

 

I had never heard of Opt 7 before - looked them up and… man, I feel like a kid in a candy store lol.

Reached out and got this response. I’m sure it’s probably a canned response sent to everyone - but thought I’d share it nonetheless.

 

Mine are still going strong without any burnt out LEDs. Purchased in 2019.
