My foam wheel is worn through at the top. Whats the easiest fix , replace the wheel or cover? Where to get ? Can you get a leather wrapped wheel replacement for the tundra ? 2014 CM

    Tastefully enhanced...
I'd replace, only because I've used a friend's upgraded aftermarket steering wheel and it felt WAY better than my cover... but it's a large delta in price to consider...

Mine wasn't worn as much as yours but I replaced with OEM leather one. I like it better though it was more expensive. Cheap fix is obviously the cover route.

I still have my old one if you want it. Just cover shipping and its yours.

I too am not a fan of covers. I'd get an OEM or replacement and go that route personally.

Replace for sure. Ebay or other. I've replace 2 on other vehicles and it's pretty straight forward. Disconnect the battery so no airbag deployment and you are good to go.
DO NOT let your son help you when he "yells BANG" as you remove the airbag thinking it's funny.:mad:

Now you have a perfect reason to get the heated steering wheel. Or get it without the heated option.

    None....
I use wheelskins. You have to install it yourself but way cheaper and easier than replacing the whole wheel.

If you’re handy and patient you can install a new cover. The covers are cheap and the look is factory if you take your time. Mine’s been on for more than a year and it still looks perfect.

Definitely not real coming from Ali, some kinda vinyl like 4Runner seats I can imagine.

I’ve actually ordered some, so it’ll be interesting to see the quality (i will share my feedback). Nothing can be worse than the rubber OE wheel

It pleather but it’s good quality. I’ve had it on for about a year and a half and it still looks the same as when I put it on. I’m not sure what the Amazon one is made from. In the description it says “Faux Leather, Leather, Carbon Fiber, Suede”. They seem to cover all the material options. From the pictures on Amazon from the reviews it looks exactly like the one I bought so I think it’s the same Chinese’s made cover.

New leather steering wheel. It’s a very nice upgrade and you can order with heated functionality if you desire.

Purchased straight from Ali for $7-8 and it took me about 4hrs with a break here and there (that was being pretty meticulous about it also).. Very pleased with how it tuned out and the overall quality . IMG_3715.jpg IMG_3716.jpg

What else is needed to get it to work, or is it "plug and play"

2022 Tacoma wheel out of the junkyard- you just have to switch the buttons (even if the layout is the same) because the collision-sense connector is slightly different.

When I did mine I had a small wrinkle in your picture that I circled. I couldn’t get it out so I applied some sticky hair hold stuff my wife had which I also use for my grips on my motorcycle and bikes. Sprayed a little in and when it was tacky I was able to smooth out the wrinkle. Worked great.
    IMG_0548.jpg

Best bang for the buck mod. How can you go wrong for $8 with results like this.

Now you have to do the leather console cover which is about $16 off eBay and the console phone charger for around $32.

Plug and play as others have mentioned. It’s a very nice upgrade.
