It was amazing! I believe we got at least 4" every day/night, with a few days with 9-14" of fresh powder. One night, there was enough to make even blue runs a lot more work than usual, but it also made steeper runs more fun. The only issue I had was visibility at times, due to very flat lighting.

I get 1-2 weeks a year to ski, so I try to find the good spots. We've already decided to go back to Aspen Snowmass next year. Right now, Snowmass and Jackson Hole are my #1 and #2 picks. I'm just not sure which one is better. Probably Jackson Hole, but that may be due to my more recent experience there.

Those Sangre De Cristo's are like a barrier. Chilly in the morning but sunshine pretty much every day. Alamosa has had some of the coldest temps in CO. Hopefully not this winter. Been mild so far. I've noticed that weather can be totally different all over San Luis Valley. It's 8000 square miles.

Been doing any trails up there or exploring yet? Not sure how much snowpack there is right now.

The Sangre mountain range is just beautiful and breathtaking.

Yep I wake up and see it evey morning. Nothing open yet mid to high up. I've gone to the dunes a few times. Driving over to Ft Garland after I drop Manny off at school to check out my property. Contractor should be close to being done.
