So I did see right now there is this "buy more save more" with it top out at $1000 for $400 off.
You did bring up a very good point which I don't know how I could have missed. The 1/4 hex impact driver.... :frusty::frusty:

I did, however, tried to build this cart, and can certainly forego the last two (insider+battery) for now, though I do want it a lot...
Might need to swap out the hammer drill set with the above drill/impact kit.

If you’re willing to spend that kind of money, then get the fuel combo kit that includes the extra battery for only $100 more than what you’re paying for just the hammer drill. If they are stacking discounts with the $400 of then that’s great. The free battery is a 6.0 (not forge) so you could drop the forge battery out of your cart.

You can also break things up into separate purchases to get more discount. Put JUST over $1000 into one purchase to get $400 off that one. Then do another purchase for the rest and get the discount for that one as well…

That order actual is like $1175, I could drop the forge battery and pickup something else.
Ideally later down the road is to have at least two chargers, both M12/M18.

Maybe just get this set for now, $399 and tag the rest later down the road.
3 batteries and one charger, with three tools.

    Insider can wait.....lol
Even with the Insider set , I sit a tad below $700, at $698....

We were evacuated last night due to flash floods. Got to use my search light. Love this thing. Had a few people walk up to me and ask what I was using. I was able to light up homes across the creek, no problem.

Speaking of torque: anyone have any recommendations on a torque screwdriver? Going to be doing a fair bit of electrical work in the foreseeable future and looking for something decent. Unfortunately Milwaukee doesn’t make one . Any recco’s @Black Wolf or others?

    Yesterday, I used the following:
    M18 Sawzall
    M12 impact
    M12 screw/drilldriver
    Milwaukee screwdrivers

To me, the most important to have is the impact and screw/drilldriver in terms of power tools.

I just keep adding misc items as I go so I have it when needed.

One big reason that I ditched and wife agreed to let me ditch Ryobi was, I couldn't get a screw into the fence piece on the 4x4.
I mean, I wasn't asking much and those were old boards, but it took hell and back to screw :half: into the board and I ended up getting a hammer and nailed it home.
I fear that M12 will not be able to perform the above without me throwing a fit and destroy said fence.
M12 for most inside the house should be sufficient, while M18 I would say would be good for the outside both for cars (depending on where/what you are working on)

I might have missed, but don't think I have ever seen a inflator with a battery set, otherwise I would have bounced on it so quick....
Also, at one point I think I will need more than just a few batteries, besides rotating them on charge and use.... Ryobi I had 6 batteries on rotation....

I apologize, I did not click the link first, and of course it slapped my face, it was a set with battery and charger......lol :frusty::frusty:
Do you know if this is a good legit source @TomC843 ? That price is damn good considering I got the inflator for $124.90 shipped.

always look on line, as in the link above I was able to beat HD, 80% of the time they are best especially HD.com. But I wanted a grinder and inflator so shopped around and now have 4 new batteries.

The M12 impact is more powerful than you think. Yesterday I used that to drill into some wooden beams to mount garage safety sensor. The M12 drill/screwdriver could have probably done it too, just would have taken longer. I do have the M18 drill and impacts if I need to step it up. Actually, I keep one of them in my tire repair kit, in a pack out with the inflator and other accessories.

with the Forge 12.0, holy hell this battery is ginormous!
Do I need this tool? Absolutely NOT but my garage floor is gonna be a lot cleaner more often now.

I'm pissed at myself right now, HD had the right angle grinder with the 5.0 M12 this morning but apparently someone bought em out! There were like over 200 in stock! I should've pulled the trigger soon as it hit my cart.:frusty:

Not sure, other than their website guy doing weird stuff.

not sure if either of those includes the free battery though, so be mindful of that sort of deal when comparing

Told the wife the right angle drill is a “deal of the day” (it’s not) and she should get me that and also use the $10 off $100 or more.

She sends me this but got it anyway lol

Was it you a few pages back that was asking about wall mounting a tool? Was it the M-18 leaf blower? Or something else?

Just FYI, the m12 impacts are crazy powerful and you would not guess it. I built this whole deck using my m12 impact and several other m12 tools. I was able to drive 8" ledger screws to secure deck posts, all kind of 4" plus screws through the deck using m12 impact. I use the m12 impact 99% of the time. I have an m18 impact, one of the lower rated ones that come with kits you can buy. It has more uumph to it, and I do have to reach for it every once in a while. Here is the m12 impact I have:

they both have their place, but for most stuff around the house the m12 will be good enough.

As far as the inflator goes, that is one of the best tools out there. I got mine about 2 years ago around Black Friday and mine came with 5.0 battery.

If I was starting a Milwaukee set, more than likely I would still start with m18, but ai use the m12 drill, impact, right angle drill, etc.... 90% of the time now.
