Please consider getting a lein release letter from Toyota Financial Services so that you can put it right next to the title. Then you can call it all your own.

Great idea. I thought they would send something like that in the mail with the title but I’ll have to request it? Did you just call them?

Any method - online, email, letter, phone - will work, but one cannot assume they will send it automatically.

Put the spare key in battery saver mode. Push unlock twice while holding lock. Should blink 4 times. Who knows if it will ever pay off but hey why not.

I thought that in most states they mail the lien release, then you go to your local DMV and get another title made showing the lien is free and clear. That’s the way we’ve done it in multiple states.

That said, we didn’t do that when we traded our Prius in. The dealer took the title & lein release when we traded for this Tundra without issue.

I'm following. I'm curious as to how well this works. Right now I have a vent mounted system I kind of Frankensteined together to make work with a QuadLock wireless charger mount.

I've developed a 3.5 year plan for mine. 72 mos at 1.99% financing. Looking forward to mid-2028.

Right now, the tundra is the family mover/ wife's daily. Once it's paid off, we will go get a Grand Highland Hybrid and the truck becomes my toy. We got the tundra first because of our towing 'needs'.

You’ll receive a letter from Toyota and the bank that gave you the loan.

I'm picky enough about the truck, it drives my wife nuts. That one might push her over the edge.

Brand new to the forum. Bought a 2025 Limited yesterday… hated the tires. (Who puts a 265/60r20 on a full size truck, anyway?!?!?).
    Put new 295s on with a 2” leveling kit.IMG_0661.jpg

I'd rather be proactive and request the letter rather than relying on Toyota to send me one, but that's just me, I guess.

Ordered some silver front axles and Perry parts bump stops to eventually turn my mall crawler into a proper setup. Next up is uca’s, extended brake lines, and some kings or fox’s. Haven’t decided yet, but I think I’ll do accutune custom tuned kings.

Nice! I’d go with the Kings with adjusters. They were buttery smooth on my Tacoma. I got them from accutune as well. Then I went with camburg x joint uca’s. Definitely worth it!!

Good to know. I may have to tackle this. I'm very familiar with pulling the plastic pieces apart. I had to have had my Tacoma's dash completely apart half a dozen times, if not more, when I had that thing.

THe dealer did one at 900 miles? Does this count as one of your freebies?

I did my own at 660 and ill do it again at 5,000 and 15,000.
Ill take it to the dealer at 10,000 and 20,000. Then Ill do it myself every 5,000 after that.
