My 25 Limited in dealership right now to have 14” radio replaced
I believe the price for it is about 7300.00
I’m hoping it will be warranty, it should be. Truck is 3 months old.

That’s quite possibly the most absurd thing I have ever heard. You should tell them to pay you the $7300 and then you can take $2300 and put together an absolute kick ass aftermarket system and then pocket the remaining $5k

Radio crapped out after we upgraded entire audio system in truck
Did a full interior removal, installed sound deadening from floor to ceiling, rear wall, pillars, doors and door trim.. ran 0 gauge full copper for pier on right side from battery to rear seat/wall. Ground to frame, all audio cables on left side to rear seat, reinstalled carpet. Built sub enclosure for three 10” subs down firing (sealed) amp rack on back wall, installed salt lithium battery next to sub enclosure under rear seat, installed a Marconi dsp, Sony es 8 channel amp, and a Rockford Fosgate t1500.1 amp, fuse block and wire distribution on amp rack.
Rear doors have Memphis audio 6.5 components front doors and Memphis audio 6x9 components, dash Memphis audio 2.5” coaxial

Damn so they may say that the malfunction is due to the modifications???? I really hope they take care of you.

And might be a stupid question but have you checked all fuses and tested continuity?

I just looked on Amazon and my Kenwood (DMX1057XR) is actually $50 cheaper than what I paid last year.

I didn't buy it from Amazon but my stereo shop matched their price.

    Yes checked everything
The radio is making a white noise thru all speakers no matter what if any music ia being played or not
This happens at all volume as well
All speaker wires and rca cables were replaced as well as load generators were replaced as well
    Still no change
They unhook the factory radio and hooked up a Sony aftermarket radio and white noise was gone
So the radio is the culprit, just don’t know why
As I said truck is 3 mos old and during and right after install, this was not an issue, but had an issue with DSP, so they ordered a new dSP to replace, when they replaced it, and retuned the truck, the white noise began. So they started over and unhooked everything and checked everything, disconnected dSP, connected and kicker keyloc instead, still had the white noise, and then replaced all audio cables like I said, made sure to segregate any power from audio but that was already pretty well isolated, now we’re at the mercy of the Toyota dealership

thx. I'm curious if any of the 'big5' will hold prices down, given the increasingly common inflationary trends.

BTW, $7300?...and the "white noise" is free?
They should market a 'radio-delete' model and drop the sticker price $7300.

Sorry about that; feelin your pain,..or anxiety.

25Tundraplat, please keep us updated on what you find. Will you remove everything and try to get the radio replaced under warranty?

@25tundraPlat, I've got a non-typical setup with using a Raspberry Pi as my head unit, but I had a ground issue when outputting audio from a USB sound card to an amp. The only thing that fixed it was a USB isolator. In your case I'd try an inline RCA ground loop isolator.
