Yo, did you ever add Baja Designa lights to your RCI front bumper? I’m ordering a bumper soon and wondering what mods if any you had to do in order to get BDs to mount.

I have two BD Squadron Sport amber fogs that I swapped my OEM fogs out for. Wanting to reuse them on the RCI fog mounts.

 

I ended up going with Diode Dynamics SS3’s. I know that BD makes killer products, but I’ve been extremely happy with my SS3’s

If you're considering picking up a new bumper from RCI, we offer a wide range of lighting solutions designed to fit various bumper models. Since you already have a set of Squadrons, they should work perfectly in the fog light location on the RCI bumper. However, if your Squadrons currently have the round bezels, you may need to swap them out for our standard square bezels.

Sick! thanks for the reply. I've used your pod/ditch/fogs/lightbars forever. love em and they have held up against the test of time and hard weathering. Will definitely be reusing my BD lights with the RCI bumper. I'll ping you on the bezels as I'll definitely need to swap those out.

Anyone have a badlands bumper paired with this rci bumper? or any others? I’m worried it won’t fit inside.

 

Have any of you who have this RCI bumper paired it with a winch? Which winch do you have and how has it fit/worked out? Thanks

Not yet. It's taking forever for Diode to ship the lights I bought during Black Friday.

I went with the OVS Scar from @memario1214 over the HF Badlands winch. I'll post some pics when everything comes in.

 

Did the bumper arrive? I'm still waiting on some Wescott Sliders I ordered on Back Friday as well.

It got a little damaged by their local box truck delivery. I went to pick it up originally. They had the same bumper under two orders and the other guy got to RCI first. RCI was great - free delivery, credit for the damage, and a t-shirt and some stickers.

I used flat black Rustoleum and it matched up pretty nicely. They recommend Krylon semi flat black, which I've used on my RCI sliders and is a perfect match, but it only comes in a spray.

 

Looks good, anyone know if the Diode Dynaics SS3 Fogs will fit in the fog holes. Already have a set in my stock location.

 

They will. RCI sells the SS3 fogs as an add-on.

 

I went with a used setup and found a solid bumper through Ovoko after a few weeks of searching. It had a few scuffs but nothing major, and the savings were worth it. The install was smooth, and it lined up just fine. If anyone's looking for parts without paying full price, it's worth checking there now and then since the listings change pretty often.

 

I'd really like to pick one of these up but I think it's absurd that they didn't make a bumper that's compatible with the Pro grille

 

I have this bumper, I always ran rci skids for all my Toyota trucks and they always fit great. Bumper showed up to my door within two weeks of ordering, install and fitment were both easy and great

had it for a few months my only con is the powder coating seems really thin but will see over time

overall happy with it and would reccomend
