Hello I am looking to see if anyone with an early FGT (01) is running a scangauge and was able to program an xgauge code that works for accurate transmission temp gauge.

I inputted the one found on scangauge website for pre 2010 and my gauge just reads 350 degrees which I know is no way accurate and doesn’t move. From cold start to highway it stays at 350 so I’m wondering if the code is incorrect.

If it helps any, when I click on their “1996-2002” category no trans temp codes come up, inputting the “pre 2010” trans temp codes gives me what I’m getting.

not sure if I’m experiencing a fault within my trucks transmission temp sensor or if I’m putting in the wrong code causing what I’m seeing.

any input would be super appreciated!

    thanks

I found the codes on their website but had to send the unit in for an update to make it work (old unit).
