Bastages! Might I suggest checking out this thread on preventing access to the cab. I've also had some luck with setting baited traps behind the front tires.

I had that problem too with an old Explorer that I never drove after buying the Tundra. It all stopped when I found a snake living in the air box where the mice had created a nest. lol

Just did the first test fit and I think it looks pretty good. Plus, a lot more functionality.
Now I'm trying to figure out where to put a couple extra USB ports while it's easy to do. If you have added any, please post a pic. I did a quick search and came up with very little.

Here’s one I put inside the center console, if this is the kind of suggestion you’re looking for:

    A) What bed stiffeners did you use?

    B) that looks nice and level given not using swaybars.

Not yet. I've just seen pics over the years of crooked bedsides and tailgate gaps from other people, so I've always added them to my past Tacomas as cheap insurance. Figured I'd do the same for this truck.

Yeah pretty much level! We'll see how it is when loaded up with a little more gear for camping.

Spent a few hours yesterday replacing the old Auxbeam switch panel w/ a newer one. I also got the ditch lights installed. The BIG 7" lights will have to wait, find an alternate location, or a new home...

@RainMan_PNW makes a switch panel that fits behind the shifter that will allow you to do things like relocate the rear window switch. You could stuff a couple of USB ports in there.

Congrats! I am 5 months and 8 days in. It is life changing. If you end up on formula for any reason, look in to the baby brezza. This was a marriage saver for us.

Congrats as well! I highly recommend two different car seats. The first one being like the one pictured. its a grow with me, i can check the name tomorrow, but the base is in the truck and another is in my wifes car. the seat easily swaps between the two and has a stroller it clips in to. Super convenient in these early months. Later we will be swapping over to the "final one" where it will stay in her car and I will go buy another one for my truck. hot swapping seats can be a PITA. so we will see.

Nice truck and trailer. They look good together.

Damn! That’s a beauty ! Is it the 1HZ or the 1HD-T? And you’re going to make it manual?! So jealous lol.
I’d love to find one, my favourite LC.

Thanks man! 1HD-FT actually (it's a '97). I've done a little bit of work on it so far, 3" exhaust, intercooler, upgraded airbox, EGT/boost gauge, Delta radius arms, suspension refresh, beadlocks and a few other things. Build thread is here on Mud if anyone is interested -

    https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/ikarus-hdj81-aussie-style-build.1306303/

If you're in the market I highly recommend it, 80s are amazing and the diesel versions in my opinion were the best they offered. It lacks a lot of the creature comforts of newer cars of course but it's amazing off road, and simple to work on. I've never had to take it to a mechanic, all DIY.

I'll honestly keep this one forever which is rare for me, I don't usually hang onto cars that long.

The 1HD-FT!!!:drool::drool: Damn I wouldn’t let her go ever either! That engine was only on the 97’s 80series I believe eh and continued on the 100 series.
Hell ya I will look at your build. Give me something to do at work lol.

Some cheapo chinesium 275/65/18. Load rating E and very much a highway tire. I haven't been off the pavement in a hot minute (dirt roads don't count) and couldn't justify the cost of an AT/MT tire.
