I wanted to make a post to make it easier for customers to know what all we offer. This time from the correct account so ColoradoTJ doesn't give me the boot! :p

For the 3rd Gen 2022+ Tundras we have a full skid plate setup, this includes a separate...
    • Engine skid plate
    • Transmission skid plate
    • Transfer Case skid plate
    [IMG]

Please note the skid plates are different between the normal, and hybrid tundra.
The talons garage skid plate lineup are offered in both 10 gauge steel, and 1/4" 5052 Aluminum. Our steel skid plates come in a black text powder coat.

for the 2007-2021 2nd Gen Tundra we also offer a full skid plate setup which includes...
    • Engine Skid plate
    • Transmission Skid Plate
    • Transfer Case skid plate
    [IMG]
Both generations of skid plats also protect the catalytic converts as well. For complete protection on the 3rd gen 2022+ Tundra you only need the transmission plate. For the 2007-2021 Tundra you will need the transmission and transfer case plate. Be sure to check out our skid plates for all the features. We do our best to offer the best coverage available for the best price.

    What are your questions?

3rd gen? I see you have 2022 in your profile. I am not 100% sure on this. I want to say yes but am not sure if Toyota changed 1-2 holes. If you shoot me a few photos of the underside I could make a pretty good guess.

I have these plates along with a TRD front plate for my 2021.
If I had to do it over, I would have bought the complete set from Talon's Garage instead of getting the TRD Plate.
If you are like me and have the TRD plate, don't forget to add the TRD Nut Plate to your order. I currently do not have the nut plate and it is challenging (but doable) to secure the front plate with the Talon's plate.

Regarding fit, finish install etc... I can install these pretty easily by myself.
I did notice some creaking noise some time after I installed them so I marked all the overlaps and attached some thin rubber material to the plates where they overlap and also come in contact with the frame. Since then, I have no noises at all. Please understand that this is not a Talon's Garage issue at all as it could be an issue with any metal to metal contact on the vehicle.
The plates I got are aluminum 1/4 thick and are very rigid and strong.
Shipping was very fast and the customer service was great.
If you are in the market for plates for your vehicles, I would not hesitate to recommend Talon's Garage.

I'm lookin to sell my current skids and get my hands on Talons skids.

Question: @Talon2006 or anybody that has them for the '07-'21... Is the engine skid plate modular in that can the front plate come off separately? Or would you have to remove the rear plate first to remove the front plate?

They are modular. There is a bracket under them that lets you remove one at a time.

I do not foresee a sale in the near future, if anything I see prices going up as material prices are in a lot of flux over "potential" Tariffs.

So I just installed Fox 2.5s and Upper control arms on my 22. It required a sway bar drop. Now the TRD skid plate won't fit without spacers. Will yours fit with a lift and sway bar drop?

Our TRD pro lift plate should fit if the sway bar drop is less then the TRD pro lift one, which seems to be the tallest.
