That looks almost like new, nice work, both of you. Not sure if my wife would have done that either.

The cover cost $28 bucks off Amazon and they upholstery shop only charged me $75.
Their original price was $125 but they were not happy with how the seams turned out.
I thought they looked just fine for a truck that hauls dogs all the time. Plus, we usually have a cushion on the center console for the dogs anyways.

Replaced my Gen 1 LED headlight harness that I installed in 2018 on my 2016. Thank you to @iHacker for the Saturday support. I don't care how big a Tundra fan you are you got to admit any work with the head lights sucks balls. I cringe every time I pull on a piece of painted plastic hoping it pops free and doesn't Crack.

Not a super cool mod, but surely it will be an expensive one. Installed a rear seat cover and car seat; ~2 weeks out from becoming a dad.

    PXL_20250208_192606769.jpg

Did a lot of research on the seat cover because I wanted one that maintained the 60/40 split and ended up getting a tiger tough one. A bit more spendy than most covers I looked at, but the quality and fit are excellent. Would buy again!

Congrats. I’m a couple months out and started looking at car seats. What brand is that base? Looks like NUNA which we’ve been looking at. Pipe aire rx I think was the car seat. Thoughts on it so far?

Busy week for the Tundra. Installed bed stiffeners -

    transmission cooler -

Just in time to pick up a new camper -

Towed great with the cooler. Going up a mountain road around 40mph, temps were around 200-210.

I was hoping I could avoid air bags and it looks like my suspension calculations worked out. This is just with Dobinsons leafs. Trailer is about 6K wet, tongue weight of 450 or so. Looks pretty level, I'm happy with it.

Does that turn on when you open/unlock, or is it a switch that you run as the car drives? Looks like the morimoto logo a bit.

Thank you & likewise! It's actually an UPPAbaby Aria. We originally were between that and the nuna setup, but ultimately found the nuna to be a bit small for the stroller (the wife and I are both pretty tall). The Aria has a bit longer of a handle on the stroller which ultimately sold it.

It seems super nice, but I might need to give you an update in a few weeks when it has some real world use:rofl:

FRESH 5100’s in the rear and 1” lift maxtrac shackles are in. My OE yellow shocks might have had 167k miles on them. They were no longer shocks. Hahaha. Rear end rides like a dream now. They need to settle, currently at 1.5” rear lift and advertised 1”. Also the front end only has 1” lift and will be upped to a 1.5” up front in a couple weeks from a spacer 1” to a 5100 1.5”

Yeah it wasn't too fun running the lines and doing the level check but it wasn't too bad once you figure it out. The worst thing that happened to me was that the check plug on the trans pan rounded out so I had to run to the dealer to get a new one. It's a great kit though, nice to have everything right there

Dude, been there, and done that. I cleared out over 40 mice from the basement this fall. I had a couple of field mice invade my camper and cab in Yellowstone last year and its made me very wary of mouse damage. I put some peppermint oil in the cabin air filter area, around the engine bay, and other spots. For the camper, I took an old Altoid tin, punched a bunch of holes in the lid, filled it with kerlex soaked in peppermint oil, and I've got that sitting in there as a deterrent.

    Good luck w the kills.

Hahahaha I will be waiting for an update. There’s so many options and most of them you can’t really get your hands on to see how well they work. Good Luck!
