You could use that or just make your own. My old Buick from HS had one.

Journeys suck. One of the worst vehicles in the last decade. My SIL has one. Terrible 2.5 multi-air. It dying on you like that was doing you a favor. Drive it up onto a ritualistic pyre and give it a glorious send off befitting of its status at the top of automobile mount shitmore.

Edit: may actually be a 2.4 or some shit

the week before i was given (trade for labor) the tundra i was gifted (trafe for labor) a 3-valve expedition that had just gotten a replacement engine, and it overheated on me before i made it out of houston. I didnt even try to sell it, gave it to my cousins FIL for scrap, and hopped into my s10 blazer (trade for labor) & left. I’ve always felt that that radiator gave its life on my behalf.

So look, here's the problem. If I sent an apprentice to school for 4 years w/o the on the job training, then sent him to do $100k commercial job, what would happen? That shit would be fubar. I'm afraid the tuning thing isn't just take a class and get it, it takes OJT as well. I'm not ever gonna get OJT with this.

The other problem is that that $1k class teaches tuning in general. It doesn't break it down into Haltech specifically, which is a problem. That's like being trained in residential, then getting thrown into industrial work. This Haltech is apparently a thing of beauty, the piece de resistance, the Mona Lisa. It's like having a kindergartener hold a .50 de and teaching him the 4 rules, and how to shoot, then telling him to hit the target. It's gonna end bad.

It's almost like you're running CIRCLES around the issue. You need to DIVE IN and finish that shit. If you don't, it may end in DISASTEROLOGY. If so, you may need to call your EMERGENCY CONTACT, the HOLD ON TILL MAY. Once you fix it though, you'll be KING FOR A DAY.

play with a free version of desktop dyno for a week & tell me you cant find 10 extra horsepower somewhere. I know in our trucks its the stock manifolds. But if we had an iat sensor i could mount in the a/c duct or trick the timing with cooled fuel, i would. I also know (mainly from desktop dyno) i’d rather have a small bore stroker for low rpm
i thought that was a haltech specific class. And like $5-600: less than 24h, but you can take screenpics for future reference. Download desktop dyno and play with it for a week and tell me you cant find an extra 10hp by manipulating sensors.

Yeah, this. What you're really saying is "Its hard, and it kinda scares me" Thats the sweet spot my man!

Also, setup allllll the safeties Haltech allows. A/f, timing, boost etc. Tune hits a dirty section of the table, ecu safeties catch it, it falls on its face.

Kinda how it runs now

I think @shifty` has some LS tuning experience, maybe he can chime in on some general diy tune ness.

A lot of Dodges do. We used to have Hertz rent out an office on our building and Dodge would sent 10+ customers per day and pay for their rentals due to warranty issues or whatnot. Most of them had to come back multiple times. That kept me away from wanting Dodge vehicles.

It looks like one of those old hot wheels cars that you'd find at a yard sale after a toddler got ahold of it.

Dammit, beat me to it. Now I'm going to have that first line stuck in my head all day. Holy diver! You've been down too long in the midnight sea...

Nah, I had a guy I was using to do all that. I found someone useful via LS1 Tech who'd repin and program ECUs at a very reasonable price. I used him on a couple of projects, then found someone local who got killed by the 'Rona outbreak in late 2020.
