Weather finally suited me and finished up LBJ and Tie Rod replacement which had been on since 2007 @ 100K from when Orig owner did the LBJ recall. Bought from him in 09 with 113K and sitting now at 215K.
They did not look terribly bad but long in the tooth and blown cups leaking grease.

Pleased with today's alignment outcome also....

    Alignment 2.jpg

Katzkin install for now is complete....both front seats and replacement for door cards. Been wanting to fix their purposely wrinkled look on door card piece and Katzkin kit comes with that material, so alls good.
Might or might not do back seat parts that came with kit given the orig good condition. Will let whichever grandson gets the truck decide when to do back seats.

    ....

Nah, it's a Homelink mirror, I think auto-dimming. Frameless. No compass. No temp.

I see. Compass is the only thing I care about, though temp would be cool. I've got the harness for the gentex. I just need to wire it tomorrow. That's the name of the game this weekend. Tying up lose ends.

All that in a 4 runner? Hope you got a massive tranny cooler on that thing. :eek2:

I’d be more inclined to step up to a 5.7L Tundra to do that especially if it’s heavy wet snow.

How tall are those 1/2 size plows, 12”? I would think 18” would be difficult if it was heavy & wet snow. Looks like it was the fluffy stuff.

I know we've been over this, but is there an OEM alternative to the PS vacuum valve? Mine is going bad.

I'm not opposed to buying an OEM one but it would probably have to wait a month or two before I can afford to drop an unplanned $150+.

I just put my new to me Tundra thru it’s paces this AM…. Hauled 2000lbs of top soil and manure….lol…Edit: BTW… I am a lil more knowledgeable of what not to do with our trucks and would not do this again. Although my leaf springs appear to be fine this was not very smart.IMG_2080.jpg

Well, I have it unloaded now and my butt is wore out but I should have thought to take a pic of how it looked suspension wise. I was surprised how well it drove. This lil truck is a champ and I am so glad I bought it and did the required maintenance to keep it going strong.
