I'm going to try and make an adapter so I can stick it in the end of the intake tube with the filter element removed. I have some rubber matt that I can cut up, or maybe just tape it shut.

I tried the cleaner method before and never knew I had those two torn o-rings, so it's not fool-proof. I wanted something more reliable, and if this is what the pro's use, then I need one too.

They really do help. I have a diy one at home with nichrome wire and a lamp wick, helped a ton when troubleshooting rotten vacuum lines on my wife's LS430.

Alright guys everything on the website updated and group by is live. It can be found here: https://cruisersandcompany.com/collections/toyota-tundra

Deep cast pan is 10% off with and without tapping of the pan for a temperature sensor

Valve Body, Cooler Kit, Lock up kit, Analogue temp gauge are part of the group buy

Most of you are buying valve bodies but the more you buy the more you save.

    Item 1 - 18%
    Item 2 - 20%
    Item 3 - 22 %
    Item 4 - 25%

Discounts are automatically added to cart and stack so if you buy 4 items is 25% is the discount on everything product (Pan does not count as an item). Only reason we can even do this is the volume you guys have here!

Huge shout out to @bflooks for reaching out and kicking this off!

If you have a problem or need help please email info@cruisersandcompany.com or give me a shout @ 720-688-1830

This will be live until Sunday at midnight!

Dont hate on me for saying...Nothing wrong with a clean catch of oil and filter/strainer can be re-used.

I know this is on the SC forum and a lot of people are still at work to get VB orders in. Maybe make a post in the general forum for more exposure over weekend?

Maybe @Jego from the turbo thread wants in on the group buy also.

Also, I haven’t spent half of what some of you guys have on this truck and I already feel I must be buried in it like @e30cabrio and his sequoia.

So now that we’ve all spent a small fortune, who wants to discuss the notorious pan bolts and how to prevent them from snapping.

In the shop if we have stubborn bolts we will snug them up ever so slightly and then back them out. Or hit the bolt head (along the long axis, not sideways to the bolt head) several times with a brass drift/hammer to send a shockwave through the bolt to hopefully break any corrosion and then try extracting.

Peening helps. Also, if you have access to an induction heat tool, heat them up and let cool before loosening. I can loan mine out, but needs to be face to face in Oregon.
