I never made an introduction thread for us, so here it is.

Lisa and I live in Gilbert, Arizona. We like long walks on the beach and pina coladas by moonlight - wait, wrong forum...

Our 2014 Tundra is Lisa's daily driver and part time high speed overlander for the Speed Glampers Uberfahrt team. We're a little band of idiots in the southwest US that get together about once a month for overland trips that are high on speed, technicality and comfort. Imagine near-trophy truck speeds, but with refrigerators and hot showers on board.

Being Lisa's truck means she has final say in what we do to it, so all of the parts and modifications have been chosen by her (of course we talk about stuff together, and I make recommendations, but ultimately, it's her call), so everything you see in our build was her choice.

I'm also the organizer of Tundras to Sedona - an annual event in Sedona, Arizona for Tundra owners from all over the country.

Hey. Bec and I like long walks by pina coladas too.

Such a great truck. Would love to try and make that Sedona event. Haven’t ever explored that area and I know I’m missing a lot.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I pretty much won the wife lottery. She's into track cars and motorcycles too (though we recently sold my CBR100RR and her GSXR750).

@smslavin sounds like we should go for a walk in Sedona.

Thanks buddy! Your bottle jack is still part of our everyday tool kit onboard. :D

Negative on the Budlight. It was the wife lottery I won, not the Kissin' Cousin From Appalachia Lottery.(although she does like moonshine, so now I'm not sure about that Appalachia thing...)

Thanks man! And no need to go crazy on the Tundra before T2S - stock is just as welcome as over the top!

    Yessir.

Three 5-gallon corny kegs for pressurized water. There’s a bottle of nitrogen in the bed to push it (and air up the tires, fill shocks, run airtools). We also have an extra keg for beer so we can have nitro beer on tap on the trail. I just need to finish the chiller and tap for it.

I’m moving our build info from another forum over to here slowly but surely. The first post of this thread has a link.

I now refer to this video as Drunk Engineering Episode 1

Hi, @KevinK and Lisa! Thanks for sharing these pics and video. Planning a trip to Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, Navajo, Hopi, and Canyon de Chelly next spring. These are great inspiration. I can't wait to learn from y'all! :fistbump:

    Thanks @Sunnier !

If you haven't been to those places yet, you're in for a great trip! Canyon de Chelly is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Depending on the timing of your trip and the Tundras to Sedona event, we might be able to meet there. We usually target late April/mid May for that.

If you're down for a little company on the trail, let me know when you plan to hit CdC and maybe we'll join you!
