Lol. The openers are antique but fully functional. A lower profile replacement would solve the issue. It's also a good reason to not be on 35s.

How long have you had the Dirt King UCA installed? Do you have a copy of your alignment sheet?

I’ve had them on for about 2 months now, it was a pretty easy install. I do have the alignment print out that was done after installing them but I made the mistake of taking it to the dealership for the alignment. For whatever reason they were only able to adjust the camber and not the caster, they said that the nut on my toe rods was frozen and they couldn’t get it to budge? “I was told the mechanic was wrenching on it so hard he felt he was either going to break his tool or break my truck if he put any more force with his cheater bar”. I asked if they tried using heat and/or penetrating oil and he sad yes we tried all of the above so your only option is $1500 to replace the entire steering rack at this point and I laughed at him and said don’t do anything else to my truck until I get there. Once I was able to read the alignment print out it was good on the camber and caster was only slightly “toe in” pretty much right where it was at before they began the alignment so I was fine with that as it’s better than having it “toe out”. When I got home I crawled under the truck and only the passenger side tie rod had any evidence of tool marks, driver side was untouched no evidence of penetrating oil or heat applied on either side… SMH… I was able to break the tie rod nut loose using a wrench and large channel locks. That was the one and only time the dealership will ever touch my truck. Drives straight doesn’t track at all so I’ve been driving it around but I think I will bring it to Les Schwab to have them try to get it dialed in a little better if possible. I will snap a picture of the alignment print out as soon as I get a chance here, hope this helps you out!

Like a firearm, it can only shoot pellets of a spcecific caliber. The bigger the calber, the slower the muzzle velocity but the bigger the hole. There are many different weights and styles of pellets.

I shoot a .22 and it wreaks havoc on squirrels. I don't bother with a suppressor on my air rifles and have shot them in the city without an issue from neighbors about the noise. After all it doesn't make that much to begin with. Unless the see you, it probably won't be an issue. No one knows what that sound is.

Unless you are shooting a lot off a bench or prone, I wouldn't bother with a bipod. Get a pair of shooting sticks.

Realized mid week I flubbed up and had the lower spring perch upside down which explains the extra lift. Took it apart, flipped them, and back to normal now. A good way to waste 2 hours, lol.

IMG_7732.jpg I put a plug in my tire today. I think the screw I pulled out was probably one i lost from working on my truck. When I work on my truck, it’s outside in the stone driveway. So, sometimes I lose stuff. :(

Ok so not today, Got rear endend the 1st week of January. I recently had a C4 rear bumper installed in Sept. Damage looked like a couple of scratches on the C4 bumper and the Hitchas well. Had the collision repair shop measuse the frame for piece of mind. They found some repairable frame damage. Also Insurance is replacing the stock receiver hitch and the C4 bumper since both were involved when the car hit me. What do you all think I shold do with the existing C4 bumper and Toyota reciever. Scrap or offer for sale on here? here is the drawing sohwing the damage to the frame all measurements are in millimeters. also pictures of the bumper...IMG_20250128_170736.jpg 20250106_131008.jpg 20250106_131017.jpg

I'd scrap the hitch receiver. If you do sell the bumper, be up front about the damage and price it accordingly since insurance is covering the replacement.

But! The damage looks minimal and I'm sure someone will buy it assuming the attach locations aren't bent/twisted which it doesn't look like.

Yeah the attachment points looked solid to me.

I was thinking 50% of current pricing including a rattle can of the coating for touch ups.
Local pickup only. shipping would be nuts...
I am guessing there would be pleanty of interest in Socal/San Diego

Installed this hidden light bar this weekend. eBay lower grille brackets to mount it. I went with this one because I can switch from amber to white light, no strobes like many come with. Easy to use rocker, made a hole on the blank cover to keep in factory looking. All works well except there’s no light on the switch. I probably didn’t make the best connection there.

Give it a good bath after installing some nice KO3's. The ceramic makes the wash so easy.

Need to take some pics but installed FitcamX front and rear dash cam that the wife got me today. Not too bad to install. Not sure why in the hell they used such a long cord on the front cam. Used rare earth magnets to mount rear cam. Not sure if I am happy with that setup but it works.

I installed the Victory 4x4 center console rigid molle panels. If someone could post an Amazon link to what I need to attach items to the panels I’d appreciate it! I’m a total noob to this and no idea what kind of straps to get to attach small items like flashlight holder, knife holder, etc

I mounted a molle medkit bag and dump bag on mine. The pax rack just has a dump bag. The medkit bag holds a flashlight and knife, and whatever else I put in there. I can also hang a holster on the rack should the need arise. My panels are originally from my 4Runner so they may look a little different. I suppose I should wash my floormats!

I pulled the center seat out of my SR yesterday in preparation for center console. While I was on the phone with the junk yard, they indicated that there was probably a difference between a Crew Cab and Extended Cab. That statement got me to question all the searching I have done on here.

Is there a difference between the Crew Cab and Extended Cab that would affect the center console?

The Cmax has heating tubes that service the back seat.

The Dcab has the vents under the seats.

You can put the console in a Dcab no problem, but the vents to the back seat will be non functional, but you already have them under the seats so no big deal.

Sorry if you've addressed this a million times in the past - I haven't followed. I may get plates at some point. I checked out your website. My understanding is front/rear cat plates both work on lifted trucks, but front skid plate doesn't. I have a 7" BDS bracket lift. Do you have plans on a front skid that would fit lifted trucks?

Pulled the trigger and should be able to pick it up tomorrow.
Now if I can find someone that has a 3D printer and can make a drop in cup holder for the shifter hole.

My brother is a dealer tech. I was just visiting him, he had a '24 Taco motor in for teardown at 3k miles, and an engine/engine bay harness on a hybrid rav4. Not rodent damage this time, he was replacing due to some questionable repairs by a local shop. Regardless the insurance company insisted on install of this on the harnesses being replaced as this was the second repair attempt. My brother said it took 5 full rolls to do the two harnesses he replaced. Time will tell if it's worth it.

I have 5W30 ready for my next oil change. My brother, mentioned above, is skeptical and very stuck in the dealer ways. I figure there are so many of you all on here that have successfully swapped to 5w30 that if it was a problem the evidence would be here. Mine has a very small bit of the cold weather piston slap/timing chain if the temps are below 20 or so here, but I rarely start it that cold without having the block heater plugged in so I don't hear it very often.
