I found 2006 v8 private seller. Frame looks like it was painted black but needed second opinion before I drive an hour away.

Spray paint or rubber under coating. The brown'ish hue to it in the first pic makes me think its the rubberized undercoat.
The under hood pix show a lot of oxidation, and the pix are not even good. The frame and axle definitely show a considerable amount of rust. I've seen worse but they definitely tried to hide what it looks like.

Middle top of the first photo above the frame does not look good.

@Ergo21 You’re looking at the worst and hoping to find a gem. I don’t think it’s going to happen.

It’s hard to tell from the pics but there is does appear to be some substantial rust showing. They actually didn’t do too good of a job hiding it with the spray paint or whatever coating they used. As mentioned, I’ve seen worse but would do a “thorough” inspection if you did make the trip to see it. Personally I’d be a little leery of it but it really depends on where your tolerance level is at. Good luck.

I'd pass. You'll find another. They made several of them. And given the apparent attempts to cover up, I'd take the 'timing belt replaced at 100k' with a grain of salt too.

For only an hour drive, that's worth the trip. Take a ball peen hammer, flat screw driver, and a creeper. Roll around and beat, pry, and inspect everything.

Looks like rubberized undercoating was sprayed on the frame.

    This doesn't look too good....

3" body lift. 3" suspension lift rhino paint job. Gonna tube and change to 4" lift and get 37s
Check 4wd high low actuator to make sure it's not broken it is made of plastic and is 1500 for the part alone. The mount tabs like to brake
