I hear that. And for me that's an extra few trips back to home depot or Ace for another tool.

I need to get a set of these, I live in a an area that often has closed roads with tons of snow. The TRD PRO is awesome in the snow. But you can slide off the road fairly easily in poor conditions. Another reason why these should be standard, in fact its flat out pathetic not putting factory hooks on these trucks. I almost bought a trx I was pretty pissed buying an overpriced PRO and not even getting tow hooks. Its not a truck at that point(at least from my stand point)

I asked my dealer in BC last week and they could find it on the US system but not Canada. I wouldn't say they are the most helpful there though.

I'm going to purchase it from a Washington dealer when I go down there in a couple months, may even see if they will install for me but not worried if they can't.

Too bad our dollar is in the tank.

I installed mine a few weeks ago, but oddly didn't need to trim any plastic piece. The hooks cleared both the air dam and the center bumper bracket.

Yeah, the dam is shown folded up in that picture. When it's lowered, there is no gap between the air dam's seal and the hooks, but no interference.

It's like Toyota was listening after the fact:
"Oh, you guys wanted tow hooks?? We'll give you TOW HOOKS!!"

Installed the kit today. Absolutely no cutting required. I took off one AFE tow hook at a time and replaced it with the Toyota part, bolts lined up and was a breeze. Didn't take off the front clip either. Did manage to rip a chunk of skin off my thumb but other than that, 1.5hrs and I was done.
