Smart LED ambient lights

Does anyone know how to install this upgrade option (and for that matter, where to get it)?
I have a 2025 1794, but this option didn't come on mine.

It's a factory option so I'm assuming the parts are available but can't find the kit.

 

Did you see post 19 in that thread? Had a list of parts. Don't know if there's a kit or not.

 

Thanks for this, I have the ambient lights in white, but they do have a SmartLed light option for changing colors of the lights with an app. That is what I'm trying to track down, thanks.

 

Understood. Wasn't aware of the color changing option. Mine have high and lo setting probably like yours and definitely wouldn't call them "smart". Let us know if you find anything. Might be a fun upgrade.

 

The coloring changing is not an OEM part. It’s a GST/SET port installed part.

 

Toyota markets the option as SmartLED
PN is 0001600K02

 

Not a "factory" option, but a regional port installed option. This is specific to Southeast Toyota (SET).

Interesting. Controlled thru a smartphone app. If that’s the case it sounds like it could be added to anything. Probably just needs power. Like to add to my 2023. Gonna try and find it as a stand alone part/kit

Yes, Thanks. Here on the West coast I want to see if it can be bought aftermarket but only if it’s easily installed on a ‘23. Lots of 3rd party options avail with more features for less coin.

 

You can prob find a kit on Amazon or temu
