So I’ve been having trouble finding a topper for my 6.5 bed RCSB Tundra any suggestions. Seen a person post 6.7 bed topper that came off a 2007-2013 tundra but I didn’t think they made them that size. At least in those years. Only picture I have of my pickup right now.

Join us in the RCSB thread.. @Cruiserpilot has been looking as well. From his research and test fitting only a purpose built camper shell for the RCSB will fit.

Hey, welcome to my nightmare! I've got a gorgeous 2012 Leer 100XL from double cab. Quoted $4800 for new.
DC caps won't fit properly. Not from any year.

Just get any generic shell. RSI smartcap, knockoff RSI, GFC topper, Alucab…etc.

The RCSB has its own part number from dealers.

Where exactly does it not fit if you don’t mind me asking and if you have pictures to explain would be great! But yeah I’ve bee quoted about the same for a new one which is half of what I paid for my pickup last year.

Those options are about $6K and up here. Nice but a bit rich.

It also doesn’t come forward enough to seal on the front of the box. At the rear the rear hatch is about 3/4” from the tailgate. So it doesn’t seal.

To be honest I don’t like the fit, but I don’t want to spend that much on a cap. Just too much. There are some used, but $4K.

I found some one selling one that actually curves with the cab. I might give a try not paying much and probably could just sell it for what I’m going to pay for fast and easy.

The top actually fit perfect on the bed just a little closer to the cab than a double cab. Worth the time and $300 I paid does need clear coat sanding and resprayed. IMG_3386.jpg IMG_3387.jpg

I guess the ARE are better. My RCSB will be on the market soon anyways now. So no loss
