Yesterday was able to get the front and rear diffs changed as well as the transfer case. Used the Blauparts kit. Planned on doing the transmission fluid as well, but my OBD2 does not read trans temps. Looking to find one that does so I can get the drain and fill completed soon. Mileage is 60k ish. Any suggestions on scantool that does read trans temps would be greatly appreciated.

Get the 2019 Toyota pack (in-app purchase) to get some extra PIDs, too

If I remember correctly u will have to change a formula for the fusion app to work. When I added a trans cooler I had to. If u watch the video on adding a cooler it walks u through doing this. Maybe someone else remembers better what I’m talking about.

I don't remember doing this. Did you buy the Toyota pack of PIDs for your year?

Wondering if I got the correct PIDs in that extra $20 pack...

You just have to buy the Toyota expansion pack. Torque Pro was the one that you had to manually enter the PID formula to get the correct numbers.

I had received a Veepeak Bluetooth OBD from Genuine Cooling Systems with my kit and I had to change or add a formula for it to display the temps. But this was all spelled out in the video.

I looked and I have the Fusion app on my phone, but I don’t remember purchasing a Toyota expansion pack. So maybe this is where the problem lies? Best of luck.

Update -- Only Code was P0302 for cylinder 2 Misfire and Traction Control was going on/off. Towed to Dealership last night. Was able to get it looked at in the AM and got called at 9:15 am about issues.

Squirrel got me again (3 times in 2 years -- twice this month {chewed my switch panel 2 weeks ago}). Fuel Injector Wire harness or something along those lines. Parts were at the warehouse so should have truck back today/tomorrow morning. Sub $1,000 fix luckily so not going through insurance (2 years ago was whole engine harness and over $7,500 that statefarm covered). HOA said they can't do anything about the squirrels as it's inhumane. I have mouse blocked that's tied into the battery and runs when the trucks off 24/7. Guess they are used to the sound and know it's not dangerous. Have to park in a different development now I guess as can't park near my house at all. Only ever my truck that I have seen been hit by these rodents as I use my dads extra chevy cruise when I don't have my truck and nothing (knock on wood). Guess it's easy to climb in and out of the wheel wheels, large engine bay, and warm. Hoping to live in my house 1/2 more years and be out by Fall 2026.

    I hate squirrels.

Positive News - King 3.0's are riding good and fixed clearance issue with 37's, had to trim more plastic and fender wall metal. But doesn't rub turning and going uphill anymore so that's nice.

Hope everyone has a nice Friday and weekend.

Exactly. I picked up a Sig pellet gun during covid and did some sniping after I found some rodents rooting around too close to the truck. I don't know what their current models are, but I have a Sig SSG ASP20 .22 pellet gun that has a built-in suppressor. Still makes a decent sound but not bad at all.

Hate this for you! and its crazy how these things work. I park under a tree and watch them run around all the time. I would 100% find a way to start merc'ing them. To bad you cannot just call a falconer or something to make quick work of them.

Just trigger your car alarm at the time you squeeze the trigger. No one hear any pellet report.

No one pays any attention to car alarms anymore anyways.

Yeah it's annoying and crazy how it works lol. HOA cut down most of the trees too. Every townhome had a tree in front of it that all started to die and all were cut down. But the squirrels still live in the middle of development in a park we have. Plus the dumpsters are right there with an abundant of food. These squirrels live the life. No predators around neither.

All things considered, it could be worse. Glad it was an easy fix this time and if I have to walk an extra 100 yards to my truck to drive it, so be it.

Was looking into this. I can tape my aftermarket light wires with it but I don’t know how to go about wrapping all the engine harness wires sadly. Guess it would just take awhile.

I’ve read it works and then others say they love chewing on it lol. same for other smells/repellants. Unfortunately I think it’s BB gun time. I’ve tried to play nice with them but they don’t want to cooperate :/ don’t want to harm animals but nothing else has worked sadly.
