I was pulling my boat out of a launch in September. Little slick, so I put the truck in 4Hi. The truck was under a slight load and I was crawling when I switched the dial. Pulled the boat out and placed the truck back in 2WD. Ever since then, several things have been happening:

    1. My cruise control does not work. Might be the clock spring, but I see a common problem with the clock spring being bad is that the horn does not work too. My horn still functions just fine.
    2. Traction control light stays on, and I can definitely tell the traction control system is off. Nothing like smoking my 20" tires off the line, but I do like the security the system provides, especially in wet conditions.
    3. 4Hi light stays on constantly and the 4WD system is inoperable.
Any idea if these are all somehow related? All these problems occurred at the same as a result of the incident described above.

Can you put it in neutral and cycle to 4lo? Can you hear the ADD actuator cycle for the front diff?

Any 4wd related fuses blown? Is ADD plugged in on diff? It's on top passenger axle side of diff.

Also check plug on transfer case. Look over The ADD for any cracks in housing.

Couldn't locate the ADD. I'll jack it up tomorrow and remove the wheel for better access I guess.....

On the fuse front, I used this diagram https://www.startmycar.com/toyota/tundra/info/fusebox/2012 and just checked all of them that are related to 4WD and stability control. Some of them protect multiple components, so it would stand to reason I would have a host of other issues if they were out. I'm inclined to believe it is the actuators. I just need to get my eyes on it.

You don't have to remove the tire. It's in front of left side of oil pan. Right side of front diff.
