Hello fellow wiring gurus I’m having trouble figuring out how to run a wire from the radio to the console. I can get to the 12 V accessories up under the AC but I don’t know how to get past that to wire up a switch for my front and rear camera, does anybody know how to get wires from the radio to the center console behind the shifter? Any help would be appreciated thank you.

That trim panel pops off and if you can get to the back of the radio you should have no issues running a wire back behind the shifter.

Not my pic, but that whole trim piece comes off and you should be able to fish from the radio to the space the connects driver and passenger footwell, from there you should be able to pull into the center console space once the above piece is off.

Sorry - just saw your message. As Robert said - you need to strip that console area of all the plastics. Watch an AJT trim video on YouTube for detailed instructions on the order and where to pull.

Then pull the HVAC panel and the panel below. Unplug the HVAC control panel and set it out of the way. I used a piece of baling wire to go from the top where the radio is going down the drivers side behind the plastics. Then pull back along the shifter to your switches. I hope that makes sense.

I did the same as @AZBoatHauler. It’s almost impossible to get the wires to feed through the center, I ran ir around back and under the plastic to the side of the console, then up through the center.

You’ll get it. That’s where my frac control is also.
Run the wires from the back of the stereo out to the driver’s footwell. There’s a screw where the red arrow is. Remove it and run your wires up and underneath the side of the center console, then push them up through the middle. Pull them out taught and the wires will hide in the center. IMG_2323.jpg

    ^This.
It was nearly impossible to run RCA wires for an amp down the middle.

As others stated, run the wires all the under everything, go up behind the HU and A/C controls.
If you remove the HU and center speaker you'll have plenty of room to feed it up.
I use 3' HVAC zip ties to feed wires thru stuff like this..
I've found many other uses for them over the years.

Stick one down from the top from the center speaker area on either side and it will come out under the dash.
Tape your wires to it and gently pull it up.
