Hey everyone. New to the forum but have been reading your helpful posts since I bought the truck (04DC)

I’m building a DIY flatbed and removable camper to go on it. I just wanted to introduce myself and share my progress incase anyone is curious.

so far I’ve built the flatbed and some removable bed sides. That way I have a pickup truck still when I need it.

getting ready to start the camper.
It will be a fully rigid cab over camper frame made from 1” 16ga steel box tubing. Here is a link to my YT page if you care to check it out! Episode 01 Building a DIY Flatbed Camper[IMG]

okay im starting to figure out the site. I had issues with my first try uploading photos. turns out the photos were shooting RAW format. I just had to convert to JPEG. I made the bed sides fold on all three sides. they close with an adjustable cam latch. there is also a drawer in the rear of the bed that is about 3 ft wide. Im just about ready to buy the steel tubing that will make up the frame of the cab over camper. I'll post some more updates as the project rolls along.
