Hello all I'm new to the Tundra gang I had a 01 Toyota Tacoma back in the day with a 3-inch Rough Country lift. Anyway, I just picked up my 1794 edition and am looking to start my mods. I spoke with a sales rep at Toyota, who stated that the TRD lift kits are on hold right now and won't know when they start to sell them again. So I was looking into the 3.5-inch rough country lift kits with M1 shocks but I don't want to void my factory warranty and was wondering if anyone has that type of lift and it has voided or not voided out your factory warranty.

That truck is too nice to put Rough Country on it. RC stuff is cheap garbage. Look at King, Fox, Dobinsons, etc. Buy once, cry once.

Your dealer is the one to speak to....they will tell you if they will void warranty or not. They are supposed to have to prove the aftermarket component caused the failure in order to deny warranty coverage. Different dealers have different opinions. Some will help, some won't. Get in good with your dealer and they will maybe extend some goodwill if you ever need it. I will tell you though, if I was the service manager, I'd deny anything anytime the words "Rough Country" were mentioned.

I have to agree with @lapoolboy for sure. We can sell RC, and actively steer people away all of the time. I have replaced far too many RC shocks with sheared shock shafts over the years... Put on something like this to not only get the lift, but also improve your ride as well.

As for warranty, the warranty on the suspension components will of course be gone when you replace the OEM shit, but everything else warranty-wise will be intact. Manufacturer warranty on the aftermarket parts will still exist though!

Ok just want to say thank you for the help. I'm not super big into the off-roading especially in this truck but I want something that will withstand if I ever make that decision to do so.
