Well the real question is getting the foam density correct and if any aftermarket manufacturers come close.

 

Yeah, I distinctly remember them saying the foam was the right rigidity. Just can't seem to find the post.

 

I'd be interested in that. I could use some new foam after 334k miles.

I’ve done this. Couple tips from the experience:
Free-rent a ball joint press from your local auto parts store, the one that looks like a big c-clamp. The adapter pieces that are with the tool are inadequate to do this job, so you’ve gotta get creative. You want to press the outer sleeve, obviously. That’s how I got them started. You can press or cut out the centers first, they tend to get in the way.
Don’t be afraid to throw some heat on it.
In the end, I did use a bottle jack a bit, but never enough to think the arms were bending, they’re pretty stout.
Lastly, do NOT forget to clock the bushings to their intended orientation before pressing them in. It only doesn’t matter if you’re replacing with poly bushings. Rubber OEM style need to be clocked.

Suicide doors are the only way to go.

 

Wish there was a way to swing the rear doors 180* open.

king cab is king for a reason.

 

I do really wish our trucks would do this. If somebody were to create a hinge that would bolt to the factory location and make 180* opening possible, I'd probably spend $500 or more on them. It'll never happen though.

 

We need to brosource this. I would throw in something to research it.

 

I don't even want to know how my actual leather looks under the leather seat covers lol

My neoprene seat covers came with armrest covers

 

Thats too bad. I guess it's all how its used, and of course down south it gets what, 170deg in your cabs?
But if you put our fabric vs leather side by side you would think leather would ware/fare much better, but it doesn't seem to.
That T3 was either pampered in a garage (that paint looks pristine), or re-shot and new leather installed.

 

Y'all are full of it. Our suicide doors suck ass. Especially when trying to load anything while parked between other cars.

100%. It sucks. Especially when you transport drunk college students who can't figure out anything. Worst thing ever is when they slam the front door with the rear door still open.

Access Cab is still the pinnacle though. Backseat is big enough to fit 3 people when you need it to, small enough so that you don't have a mile long wheelbase. Looks fantastic from the outside too.

 

Yeah I love our Best Cabs but trying to unload groceries, luggage, or tools in a tight spot and you’re like stuck in that little box of two doors, haha.
