Well Here it is. "Final" build as of now. Will be taking a long break to enjoy and drive this around the North East to snowboard the rest of winter. Wallet is indeed hurting, some might say it's crying. I do rub a little on plastic liner turning going uphill so I do need to trim a little bit more. Will do so this week hopefully. Wheels hum more than I thought they would but doesn't bother me really. Miles per gallon tbd was getting 12.5 on 295/70/r18's. Coming from Fox 2.5 Race Series DSC which I will be selling after I clean them up - same for my old black rhino caprock wheels (18x9.5 +12 offset). In no rush to do anything but enjoy the truck now.

Loving how it sits and the King Blue.

As it sits distance from ground to fender -- will wait a week to see where it stands but does lean a little driver side
    Ground to Fender
    FL 41.75 inches
    FR 43
    RL 43.25

Installed Eibach Pro Truck Sport shocks on front, factory springs, lowest notch for stock height. Wasn’t too hard at all. Feels good and smooth so far. Had a driver side leak on factory yellow Bilstein. It’s a touch higher, not sure if anyone knows if it’ll settle more? I tow a camper and liked the stock height as I sat level when loaded.

Braved the cooler temps to wash the salt off the truck down here in SE. Couldn’t stand it any longer and was slightly warmer today.

Opened up the tailgate to figure out why my power lock wasn't working - thinking it just needed a little grease maybe.
Discovered the screw holding it in place was missing altogether and that the solenoid was just flopping around (also explains why the handle seemed a bit loose as well).
    IMG_3422.jpg

Shining a light around down in the tailgate, I found the missing screw was down along the outer cavity by the drain hole. So I made a makeshift magnetic "grabber" with a breaker bar and a couple small rare earth magnets and fished it out. Then put some locktite on the screw before putting it all back together.IMG_3423.jpg

    Finished a few projects.

Maintenance - Motor and differential oil change, new air filter, MAF sensor cleaned, and alignment necessary due to widening front suspension .25” on each side

Paint - Front bumper and skids repainted (skids painted black instead of gray), rear boxed frame coated internally with Eastwood internal frame coating

Wiring - Added onboard battery maintainer

Storage - Installed Rigid toolbox in bed for tools that stay in the truck

What was the Aussies lead time and shipping cost? I emailed about their extreme valve body and haven’t heard back yet.

If Rey doesn't know, I can let you know tomorrow. I'm pulling the trigger on the same unit. They were very responsive on Friday so I'm hopeful it will continue.

    Too many mods to come

Haven’t ordered the valve body yet. They mentioned those aren’t on much lead time when I spoke to them awhile back but that may have changed. That’ll go in most likely after my planned run due to timing

Ended up on a second concrete pad and was able to finish wiring in the SS gifted fog lights. Noticeably dimmer than the illegal white ones, but now... legal! I found my Aux switch today, so I may wire that up this week so the deer spotters on bottom are back online. That is TBD as I am tired of being on the ground... damn I need to finish my barn and buy a lift....

I love that I can see the sides better, I am actually shocked there wasnt a deer in this photo.. these damn things are everywhere.

Looks good and plenty of light. Cruising around knowing you could be pulled over by a bored or concerned police is not fun, being able to see and not get pulled over for it sounds like a win!

Been looking at those shocks. Curious how they are feeling for daily use and so you have any pics to show how it sits now just for comparison? Also, how do they compare to the Bilsteins? TIA

Amen to that! They do the job well and I think they look damn good inside the bumper too. So it is a win/win across the board. My SS nailed this one.

I took it out into the Pennsylvania wilds last week, it did great! I had to stop to take some pics and thought I'd share :). I'm slowly making some mods and upgrades, otherwise, just really enjoying the truck.

The Wilds are several counties in the northcentral part of the state. Remote and amazing. I highly recommend anyone who is into hiking and camping to go out. (I see the photos, but i'll try to repost or something)

Hello, here is a pic from today, day 2, very close to level ground, empty bed, 1/2 tank of gas. High speed compressions are insanely softer, smooth, supportive and more controlled. This would be normal stuff on freeways and over 40 on streets with pot holes, railroads, etc. Highspeed rebound would say is medium as it lifts you back up controlled and ready for next compression. Low speed compressions, and rebound, are medium to firm, again much better than before feeling overall more controlled. At the lowest notch for stock height, at sag when parked, you are deeper in the shocks range of travel and might be why it is slightly higher. Overall, very happy!

Thanks for the update. It looks very good and to my eye almost level but i would expect it will settle a bit and you will get some rake back. It is nice to hear that the ride is good and more controlled. I mostly don't want the harsh impacts that some shocks give with small road imperfections. Plus i want more control than stock shocks.
