Not to normal people, but the "ballers" who think driving a caddy gives them class will buy them. Same with the EV Hummer. It got snapped by the same ones that think buying an H1 was a status symbol.

they sell the initial production run to the dealers.

the dealers sell MAYBE 20% of them. < to the ballers you mention.

and the rest of them rot on the lot.

and we wonder why the big 3 suck at ingenuity.

38% insurance increase in 3 weeks since update. 4 months prior I had a COMBINED 4 collision alerts.

in 3 weeks I’ve had 20+. Same route less driving. It’s a joke

 

When these collision alerts happen, is there anything or anyone in front of you at all? Or did it just get a lot more sensitive so Tesla can charge you more for insurance?

 

Kind of both. I get it for parked cars on tight roads. But most come from not even close to collisions. I have two saved dash cams of the incidents I’m trying to load here but can’t. It’s ridiculously sensitive. I’m starting to see more posts on it too

 

I get those as well...on wife's Y and my truck. So annoying

 

I haven't seen it from parked cars but we get a few collision alerts a month.

For those who don't know.. it's a series of beeps, annoying but not a big deal.

I see it mostly when someone in front of me is making a turn into a parking lot. I don't slow down because I know they will be out of the road before I reach that driveway entrance.

Hopefully the sensitivity improves with future updates. Glad I don't have Tesla ins. Sorry man

To be completely fair it does also have FSD. That's a 10K upcharge anyway, isn't it? They just basically force you to get FSD if you want to be first.

 

FSD is $8k. But it looks like you can choose any color and can choose any option for no up charge. Although both wheel sets are ugly af.
