Fender Flares & Mudflaps?

Hi all, I have a monthly commute over the Cascade mountains from Kelowna to Vancouver BC for family reasons. The province now has super gritty tough sand they're putting down that's also full of rocks. I was going to do fender flares at some point, but now am seriously considering that and bigger mudflaps/mudguards too. The rough country or bushwackers I'm looking at seem to use all of the oem holes in the wheel well, and due to all the salt on the roads here, am not at all interested in drilling holes. Are both flares and mudflaps compatible on 3rd gen Tundras?

 

I see Rokblokz ( https://rokblokz.com/ ) has mud flaps in standard and XL size for 22+ Tundras. I put some on my 2008 2nd gen. No drilling required for their flaps. I really didn't want to install fender flares so I went with mud flaps only. rekgen mudflaps has some decent ones but they are spendy

 

Check out Rock Tamers, they mount on the hitch.

 

only problem is these only protect the item being pulled. no protection for the vehicle pulling.

 

Used these for a long tow to Alaska and back. These outperformed the rock tamers during an Airstream caravan. That is why I bought them & couldn’t be happier. A bit pricy though worth it IMO.

If you decide to drill...they will make you whatever you want

 

Rokblokz are great. Standard can stick out a long way. I'm guessing they'd work if the fenders use oem holes.

We have tons of sand on the roads here. It's like driving on a beach some days. The flaps and boards keep a lot of spray off the truck but I still get some even with the stock tire size well inside the stock fenders.

 

You have to do any drilling?

No drilling! And they have a support bar for the rear flaps. They are extremely solid. Do yourself a favor & check them out.

 

Standard. Fronts are out all the way. I'll probably tuck them in a little bit once winter is over.
