I have a 2014 Tundra, lifted from original owner. I need new shocks and having a baby, my wife has a hard time climbing up to get the kid.

So I want to get back to stock height, or something close. I have zero idea what lift I have or what size. I see some big blocks added on the suspension below and up front as well, but what I want to know is..

Can I go back to just stock? Do I just need a smaller lift kit? Any thoughts or suggestions?

I assumed i'll just go to an offroad store and hope they have leftover parts, otherwise (more likely) i will have to buy another kit that's just like 2"? No idea.

    Thanks!

Can you share a picture of where the leaf springs meet the rear axle, and a photo showing the top of the front shocks? It'll help to identify whatcha got going on currently.

As for going back to stock, often times people let their stock suspension go for a good price after lifting. Might be able to get a good deal that way. Another route would be getting new stock yellow tube Bilstein shocks, or Bilstein 5100 and setting the clip to the lowest setting which would yield .87" of front lift.

Get on a Facebook group and have a stock height owner swap your lift for OEM stuff

Check the top of the front struts for spacers. Considering they didn't go crazy on tires they probably did a cheap spacer lift.

Should be an easy fix, remove the spacers (front/rear) and new hardware. Looks like the suspension can remain if not bad (<100k). Depending on the shop you go to for your next set of tires they should be able to remove it.

Remove these. Now you’re back to stock. Replace your shocks as the fronts appear to be OE and probably worn out. Rear are nicer Fox kit, but may not be appropriate for stock ride height. Get alignment.

Fantastic. I was thinking that was too easy but glad to hear the confirmation. Appreciate it!

    Alot of them
What part of Tampa are you in? You have what appears to be a Readylift spacer kit in the front along with the blocks in the rear. Those can be easily removed. Make sure you replace the u-bolts after you remove the blocks. The design of the u-bolt threads make them a one time use.

    Riverview. You from here?

and Thanks for that info. Suspension is one thing I know almost nothing about, but I figured new U bolts will be needed. I’m assuming it’s standard and whenever I go can get it done.

should I take this to an off road place or woild anyone who sells shocks do this as well? I’m not sure if the coils or anything else have to be swapped out.

I'm on the St Pete side and work at Macdill. The only reason the coils would need replacing is if they leaked or are high mileage. Being that they are lift components, I would suggest an off road shop. I lived in Brandon years ago but I don't remember what shops are out there.
