My guilty pleasure is Lady Gaga. I freaking love her. LOL.

I am too. I was 13 when Waynes World came out and a young metalhead at the time. What a great movie that helped push my musical tastes even further.

I still like most early Nirvana and really enjoy Alice in Chains Dirt album. My 16 year old daughter has been playing Dirt for the last couple years and it really just is a good solid album. Not a bad song on it. All other grunge, in my opinion, is trash.

I wasn’t a Pearl Jam fan or a huge RHCP fan. But STP, Nirvana and Alice In Chains definitely have a solid body of work. And some really talented musicians / song writers / vocalists

Grunge sucks. Hearing it on the "classic rock" station sucks even more.

to make matters worse our power is out. Really concerned about pipes at this point. And we don't have water either because I'm on a well and the pump won't pump.

It's been bumping around. So I can't say it's clear. Power has been out since around 645. Thankfully I have a firebox to heat the home. But a lot of my pipes under the house I have wrapped in heat tape. Definitely signs that a generator is a need at this point.

@OldGuy03 if you have lines the stove can’t heat, maybe you can drain them.

That sucks. Definitely time for a generator, even just a cheap small one to keep the water pump running.

Power just came back on. Everything is looking good so far. Running water through all sinks to ensure I'm good.

This is something I'll have to rework as my well pump is also on power. So when I don't have power I have no water.

I'm looking into this now. Currently my well pump is connected to a breaker switch so I'll have to figure out how to get power to the panel from the genie.

I saw STP on beach in Coronado once. They played 3 songs, sounded like shit, lots of dope that day I think. I love old rock and metal. Can’t wait for Metallica in May near DC. I also like lesser queen music and some ABBA thrown in there. Old Motown stuff is cool, rapp-nope. I didn’t mind oldies stations when working midnights, but when things got fun, metal went on, changes mood.

saw Ramon’s and social distortion in SD. Social distortion rocked, Ramon’s sucked.
Best shows I’ve seen have been oingo bongo 2x at sdsu stadium, and Joe satriani in small venue in downtown San Diego.

I have never been so excited to see a dentist first thing in the morning.
They numbed up the right side of my mouth, then began to work at the gum area and hopefully dug out whatever may have been stuck deep down in there. He said the gap is 6mm based on how my gum rebuilt over where the wisdom teeth were and the periodontic will have a better idea how to fix it, moving forward; likely cut some of the gum pocket out to 3mm. He sent me home with antibacterial mouth wash for it, and I have a consultation with the others in the AM.

Same here, I can’t listen to any of that anymore, for the same reasons. Well said.

The only one I’d still listen to is Mr. Bungle, but most people couldn’t stand them back then, or now.

Faith No More is a late 80’s/90’s band that I still really like and would still listen to today.

But it would be a lot of mental energy to do it. I have to pace myself.

I’d compare the strength of Mike Patton’s vocal cords to @nobodyintexas ‘s quads.

I still like old Alice in Chains and enjoy old Soundgarden. But only their early stuff, Spoonman and Black hole Sun shit can just fuck off.
