You need to play a little more in the snow with your truck and nobody around to find out its limitations in snow weather. The three most important I feel are:

1. Never stop climbing a hill
2. Downshift coming down a steep hill and never lock your brakes doing it.
3. Never change lanes abruptly, always ease into it.

I'll take a closer look at that property... a lot of swampy areas... high water table. Snow takes forever to melt off that high up, and you have a month or so of black-flies that's almost unbearable. I'll look at it though.

 

grandma’s so crippled i cant send her that far away. If her kids dont take her, shes gotta come to my house. I brought her a better walker than she had, and started moving furniture so she can get around better, but she’s pretty much done by the time she walks 50ft.

How bad are the flies? Worse than mosquitos?

You will need a federal level ID, not a state level one. Passport works. Military ID works. State driver's license does not. "Real ID" is a state driver's license or ID with a federal endorsement.

 

Is that for carrying a "large" sum of cash?

That's for boarding an airplane. It's been a "mandate" that's been on hold for like 8 years now, but they swear this is the year it will take affect.

 

Still waiting to hear if we are going to get off early or not. I have to drive an hour south and would prefer to do it without icy roads.

 

Hmm, that should reduce airport traffic lol. I bet the airlines are pissed. They just lost most of their passengers to some bullshit.
