If you want to send me the VIN, I can check for any active recalls or if it was ever a salvage title through this Toyota system.

What I want to know is who paints it and is it such a huge problem they need a warning?

Well if you paint over the inlet then it renders the unit inoperable negating its whole purpose so it’s just as much a liability issue as the ‘caution - hot coffee’ warning.

I've got a neodymium magnet stuck inconspicuously under the truck to stash my key when I'm out doing stuff. It's deep and hidden, but it can be retrieved/stashed in a smooth motion as to not draw attention if there's other people around.

I once lost the car keys during a long day of climbing. It was a 14ish hour day by the time we got back to the car, only to realize we weren't going anywhere:rofl:

Those magnetic key holders are known to disappear when driving down bumpy dirt roads. I just use a short length of stainless steel tie wire, costs nothing, been doing that for decades.

You don't see this very often. The deep South is going to get snow. Possibly even New Orleans.
By Monday morning the wind chill here in Knoxville will be around 1. That's cold for us.

I’ve got to watch the latest news. I’m seeing 8-10” on my phone for Sunday night. May have to email my boss I’ll be out on PTO Monday to avoid the bad weather. Our reign of partially working from home is coming under scrutiny. Bummer.

5-6 degrees here Sunday and Monday night.

Edit: 6-10 inches of snow it appears.

I don’t have any pictures because I didn’t expect to even drive by it, but we were in downtown Dallas today headed to the interstate on Elm St and we passed the book suppository building and the grassy knoll at Dealey Plaza. There is an X on Elm St marking the spot where Kennedy was shot . Gave me chills when I saw it all

I wonder if the Tik-Tok ban has anything to do with coworkers engaging in Tik-Tok challenges while hanging out in the SCIF? :homer:

Better than my son who returned from a trip to the islands only to discover the key to the Club on his steering wheel was nowhere to be found. Had to get the fire dept to use their giant nippers to break it, at 2 o'clock in the morning, in the airport parking lot, in 40 degree weather, with all the family's luggage sitting on the ground.

I used to stick the magnetic key box under my plastic bed liner, near the tail gate. Also where I hid my pot as a teen:rofl:looking back, that was probably not the best spot for the latter. But it worked.

Ya know, if there was a solid axle under there at least it would be functional/useful. But as it sits it's fkn ridiculous looking AND non functional (esp on those bald ass tires).
Needs to be put down:bananadead:, poor thing.
