A local Toyota dealer has a 4000 mile LE that they certified. My truck is non-hybrid 19000 mi. not included in recall. Towing a race car @ 5500 lbs. on open trailer, done it a couple of times truck really didn't know it was there in tow/haul but may eventually go to enclosed @ 8000 lbs.
Is it worth it to trade for the exclusivity, Saddlebred leather and hybrid or no?
Thinking if less than $10k difference it is.
Any LE or hybrid owners want to weigh in?

Love the pro suspension in black on the LE. I went from 22 non hybrid to 25 hybrid and enjoying the additional power.
    Good luck with your decision.

I would. Not because of the hybrid but since there was only 1500 made. That leather is amazing as well

No brainer for me, I'd do it, just check the history on it and ask to see the maintenance records to make sure there weren't any warranty complaints. I often wonder why cars with 4k are up for sale, why didn't they want it? Not saying there is a market for this thing but with only 1,500 made and being individually numbered maybe in 30 years that'll mean something.
If you do pull the trigger see if they have the leather goods that were shipped with the truck. 2 small bags, one large, 2 key fob covers and spare tire tool bag stamped with the series number on it.

Yep hopefully it makes sense and has all the swag Rockpig. People do make a change sometimes just human nature, maybe the truck was too big or they needed a true GD or fell in love with the new TRD PRO in a cool color, we will see

Well, didn't go as I'd hoped. Dealer has a bunch of Tundra's unsold new so rolled me a low ball trade, had to walk. My truck is great, so it just didn't make sense today. The recall and soft market working against me. Still might get a call on the last day of the month...doubt it will change my mind and the LE is sweet, but I think I made the right buy the first time.

That’s strange they didn’t offer anything decent. I just traded in my 24 Land Cruiser and got 55k for it and bought it for 56k 9 months ago.
Thing is, they have like 30 LCs on their lot brand new. For what they gave me for mine, I could get a new one for damn near cheaper.

My truck is mint 1794 has Trd off road, Trd skid plate, Trd aluminum running boards, factory spray in bed liner, rear bed step, backflip tonneau, pro ceramic tint not real dark even light on windshield. All service up to date at dealer at 5k mile intervals and NOT in recall status, opened me up at $49,000, went to $50k like they were doing me a favor, they have a ton of new tundras on the lot and afraid to step up...oh well I can use that $ much better elsewhere, hybrid is not that much quicker imho, but ride was a little better with Fox suspension, interior is killer smells terrific

Well, they called me back and moved enough that I pulled the trigger. I found one 300 miles away in blueprint with 500 miles but I really like the windchill pearl and dark colors are so hard to keep clean. Picking up #848 of 1500 on Friday.

In all honesty I'd be holding onto it myself if I traded mine in, only reason I'd turn it all in was if they understood the value of it down the line. Congrats on the acquisition and welcome to the club!

Congrats and welcome to the 1794 Limited Edition club!

I looked back through your post but didn't see the color listed for your new to you ride, of course I'm partial to the Midnight Black color...;)

My 1794 LE has 4,100 miles on it.

Thanks guys, Wind Chill Pearl...appropriate for how cold and windy it is right now. What do you guys think is a reasonable bribe to get the original owner to give up the swag? Dealer should have insisted on it with the trade. For all we know the sales guy snagged it for themselves...4100 miles delivered May 2024 Toyota Gold Certified.

When I was trying to buy a new one, the swag was missing on the first one I was working a deal on. Check behind the seat and see if you at least got the tool roll.

Did you get the key fob saddles? That was my favorite out of the swag pieces. I wouldn’t spend much if you found a new bag. I’d just get what I wanted from saddleback. My bag seems kinda big to be small and to small to be big, if that makes any since. But it is nice though. I have #123 in windchill, welcome to the club!

So just got home from taking delivery and I have to say the power running boards are great, way better than even TRD ones as they come down and away then tuck up tight for a clean look. No fob covers but manual cover is leather. I'll check on the tool roll soon. Truck drives amazing definitely a TRD Pro with cowboy boots. The Wind Chill Pearl literally glows in the dark! Had them swap my wheels which were takeoffs from a Pro so now has everything but the light bar. Question for LE owners: does yours have the extended TRD skid plates? I was going to have them swap mine as the videos I watched could have sworn it was plain black metal. Previous owner put a led light strip in the rear that turns white in reverse really helps at night. Seemed to make a little more wind noise he has those window shrouds that let you crack the window even in the rain, not sure but prime suspects. Not sure I dig the look so may pull them after further review... Now the proud owner of 848!

You can get fob covers from saddle back. I haven’t checked my skid plates but I believe there just standard

I think the PO had them installed, I'll take that over a bag any day! Yeah the tech doing the swap showed me, they really tuck up tight, I think higher than the front TRD on my 23 1794 Trd, which was a $ ad on factory options/ accessories. So honestly super psyched. Gold Certified so 12/12 bumper to bumper like a new one warranty and powertrain 7/100.

I get that if you want but the LE was 2024 only 1500 units. Maybe they will do another special build for 2025.

What did they end up giving you in trade for your '23 1794? Or did they reduce the price of the LE? Did they get to your $10K difference mark?
