I had planned on doing the LT and engine mounts as well down the line.. Same as my Tundra. But for right now I really need to just get this thing up and running as it's my daily.

Crap, the OEM is more than the damn DT long tubes. But then I'll need midpipes and all that as well. Fuckin' hell.

I'm going to keep the stock midpipes w/cat. I did a full cat delete on my Tacoma and did not like it one bit. Too loud, too smelly.

Yea, that's how my Tundra is but it's ok on there being the 'fun' car. Don't want that on the daily. Does the GX not need a custom mid-pipe like the Tundra to go to the catback?

I'm assuming it doesn't. The Tacoma didn't and it ran DT LT's

URD is out of stock currently with a 3-4 week lead time so there goes that idea. Spoke to the shop and it would only save me 2-3 hours of work down the line anyway. As long as they don't see any issues, and there haven't been, with the current manifolds we're just gonna run 'em till there's an issue.

Do you know when the timing belt was last swapped? Not sure that mine has ever been changed, at least I don't have any documentation that it was. At 152k miles, I'll need to get that done soon.

It was done about 20k ago according to the guy I bought it from. If I wasn't so damn balls deep in this thing already I'd have them do that as well but it just doesn't seem to need it yet.

hard to tell, but the water pump metal does look cleaner than the thermostat housing. I'd be inclined to believe the timing belt was swapped since those are usually done at the same time.

Nothing new lately. Hoping to get the stereo sorted out and redone very soon. Got boxes of parts piling up.

What speakers did you end up going with? I removed the front passenger 6x9 because it was rattling so much. All of the surround foam was rotted away. Not sure if I want go wild with a full system replacement just yet though.

Sky High Car Audio components up front with an 8" on the bottom and Sky High 8" coax on the rear with a 2000w amp on them is what will be going in. Currently it's no name crap up front but still 8" and same on rear on a small Rockford amp. Not happy with that setup though.

8" fits just fine with an adapter

She's a rescue and I don't really know. I did a DNA test on her and she came back like 98% bulldog.

I have said it many times in my life - dogs are better than people. The loyalty, companionship and unconditional love that they give is unmatched. We certainly don't deserve them, but am grateful that they are around!!!!
