Been quiet on here for a long time busy with life, but still very pleased with my truck. Hit 80k recently. Unfortunately also hit a deer. Was up in Jackson Hole snowboarding and hot springing and smoked a little Bambi. Got lucky it wasn't bigger or cause any engine damage, but broke a bunch of plastic parts. I have a dash cam and upon review, it was impossible to avoid. Got home with some zip ties and now debating if I should swap out for a burlier bumper and bull bar. It was only a matter of time I hit something, I nearly crashed into 2 big elk that appeared out of Th fog a few days ago. Anyone found a new front bumper they like a lot that works well with all the sensors?

ive had great luck with C4 and it’s sensor friendly. Bull bar is a little underwhelming compared to ARB but it does the job

Good to hear from you! sucks to hit a deer, but at least it’s only cosmetic. I had to get the A/C hardline redone when I hit a deer, and they had to straighten a little of the front grill mounts and replace a headlight.

I ended up just letting insurance fix it back to pre-loss including all the sensor calibrations, then I installed the SSO “stealth” bumper with low hoop.

I have a C4 Hybrid on order with the low hoop - I’m not a fan of the big “moose knuckle” look of the full bull bars myself.

 

@Mac5attack, that's a bummer. I was looking at Demello, C4, and CBI Hybrid front bumpers. My favorite one is the CBI hybrid, but I have experienced horrible pre-purchase customer service, to the point that I don't think I want to do business with CBI.

 

I found the Lunar Rock thread! I got a 25’ Limited with nightshade, panoramic roof, 14” screen, black interior. So far I’ve to ted all of my windows, color matched TUNDRA on the front grill and a heritage badge.

I really want a 3” factory lift at some point.
