It's been a few years since I have had spam and eggs but I do remember it was super salty when I made it.

Hell, and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt that it's not systemically engineered, intentional, nefarious acts...

 

Another problem I see is what I call politcal inbreeding... waaay too many generations of family members and folks from the same viewpoints in waaay too many seats and positions of authority. It prevents broad spectrum thinking and approach to resolving issues, creates an environment that is entirely too self-serving and once it goes unchecked for so long it's really hard to break free of...

 

Hope I'm not toeing the politics line here - - The trouble doesn't stay in California, though. Any federal bailouts cost people in other states. Same with SALT - the efficacy of a taxed dollar from a state that has income tax is less than that from states that don't when the states that have it are allowed SALT deductions. We're all paying for California's (and New York's, and Washington's...) state government mismanagement.

 

I agree with both of you but am going to stop here as I don't want to get political or push the envelope as far as politics go. I don't want to cause drama for the mods.

I’m gonna go on a limb here and suggest that sometimes the words that get used convey “absolutes” that aren’t really intended to be that way. I try to avoid absolutes, but I’m far from having anything figured out. It just never works out that well for me.

Anyway, I like you just the way you are, almost all of the time.

People get offended by things, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Please just consider that taking objection to people getting offended, is in itself, a form of being offended.

First day of my 7-month vacation off work.

I enjoy it once every 10 years or so. Very salty.

Tuna is awesome, even the flavored stuff. Oil is much better than water based. adding mayo ruins it. We almost agreed LOL.
