Going to ask for sure. Guess I keep searching for a grill or at least a new insert. Mine is cracked all the way across the top and is held together with zipties:rofl:

If there's a pick n pull anywhere close they might have one that you can cannibalize. Not sure what they'd charge, but I do remember when I bought new parts to color match the grille and bulge together were close to $800, and that didn't include the emblem. That emblem is like $300 on it's own because it has to be something the sensor can look through.

I know the 14-17 pro grill can be swapped with what I have. Id think they'd be backwards compatible as well except for that dumb sensor. I'm really hoping someone will let me know before Monday. Ideally I'd scoop up the platinum and do the relocation and get this pieced back together for around $350. I still need a fender and a door and I'm trying to keep total repair under a rack.

They can only be swapped if you relocate the sensor. There's a member on here that did a custom relocation as well and he didn't have any issues. I'll see if I can find his video on it.

Here it is. It's a grille swap, but he relocates the sensor as well.

Hell ya NitroZ18!! I've stumbled on a few of his vids. I'm gonna give it a shot, worse case scenario is I'll have a platinum grill for sale pretty soon. LOL

Decided not to mess with the platinum grill and see if he'll sell me just the bulge. The search continues for a 14-21 pro grill or a 18+ honeycomb.

Going to just call it off before I get anymore emotionally invested. If I wanted to play games I'd date much younger ladies.

Trip got delayed by my inability to tell my grandmother no. Guess I'll be bathing my demented old uncle and taking him to the barber this morning instead. :crapstorm:
I love the guy but he needs to be somewhere he gets this care from a professional. Dude outweighs me at least 2X and is very uncooperative. Trying real hard to keep my cool rn

I love that son of a bitch. 90 years old and worked cell towers for as long as cell towers have been a thing. FRIED HIS BRAIN!! Every time I think it's gonna be a shit show he thoroughly surprises me, today was one of those times. I just have to remember it's like dealing with a child, like a 5 year old. It was worth canceling my plans to see him happy and chillin. We're bout to have a spaghetti western marathon starting with The Outlaw Josie Wales.

Assume you looked on eBay? Lots of junk yards have gone to eBay, so at least you're still getting oem parts.

I was able to souce everything I needed for the front. Search continues for a door and I'll probably aftermarket fiberglass for the fenders cuz they're cooler and will cut some weight.

I'm stoked to get it back together :bananadance:

Are 2014-2021 all the same? Might depend on what other features you have, like heated mirrors for example.

I believe they are...I've been told they are at least. I'll swap over whatever needs swapped to keep my options. I do have heated mirrors with BSM, and don't have the tweeters in the doors.

All you really need is a shell from the model years. You can take everything else from your door and swap it over. I was looking at eBay junk yards and they aren't cheap.

Yeah, I would assume that Phoenix has to have some pick and pull yards. I have a rear quarter panel on my bed dented in. I keep saying I want to fix it but every time I consider spending money on a used bed I can't justify the cost for purely cosmetics. Id rather that money go to something more fun than a new to me truck bed.

The problem is that every tundra in the yards has been crashed head first, T-boned or rolled. A door, hood or fender is almost impossible to come by. Found 1 in Glendale and got excited... then realized it was Glendale California.
